The MI Weekly Report.
These weekly entries will feature various troop stats collected for the week as well as any recent MI news, announcements, or updates... and perhaps the occasional hidden gem...
This Week in the MI
The many constant revolving Leaves of Absence during the summer seems to have finally died down and things should start to get back to normal. That means things like article activity checks will be returning and the Department of Pie will start functioning again. Expect the next Company War Games to take place in about 2 weeks.
In other news, it seems the government has come up with a moronic plan to return regions to purposely lose our bonuses. Why? To make EDEN people here leave by ruining our economy to prevent a theoretical "PTO" (I'm not going to go into how our government seems intent on making us more horrible at being an ally than the UK or Poland). They seem to be ignoring the fact that even without the Spanish or Indo territories, we'd still have better bonuses than pretty much every EDEN country other than China. So the likelihood of the "evil" EDEN "PTO"ers leaving? ... yeah, very unlikely. All it will really accomplish is hurting all US producers, communes, non-USAF military units, and all allied communes based in the US - thus decreasing damage output in the US and allied countries, and making sure countries like Poland and Serbia dominate even more than they already are...
So yeah, moronic plan.

If your strength is at least 500 and your battlefield rank is Lieutenant or higher (or you can do at least 85 influence per fight barehanded) ...and if you like pie as much as we do, you too could be a member of the Mobile Infantry!!!

Hmm, looking at this moronic plan from another angle its actually a great plan... for Poland and Serbia, thus begs the question did the plan come from Poland and/or Serbian agents?
If you actually believe this is about EDEN PTOers, think again. The regions being returned are from Indonesia and Spain. No regions from France or Mexico are being returned. This is all about making new friends through foreign policy.

Fighting agaiinst our own country has happened before. Remember region swaps? At least with Canada, people fought with hs through their own choice. There were never any orders to return Canada's regions. My thought is that the PotUS wants to make this happen before the election, so he has taken the extra step of ordering the USAF to fight for Indonesia and Spain. Something Glove should have done when we were making peace with Canada. I guess our enemies are more deserving of our respect. 😛
