[C4] Wiped on the 4th of July

Day 2,053, 16:16 Published in USA USA by Haselrig

✥ The following article was written for C4 by C4 Press Corps writer Cpt. DylanBAS.

It’s finally happened America. On July fourth, 2013, day 2053 of erepublik, the United States was wiped from the face of the earth. It took 3 weeks, from Hungary’s encroachment into icy Alaska, to Poland taking our fishing grounds in the north-east(an action for which I am swearing my vengeance. I want my seafood back! Especially considering the chat I just had on IRC about how to best catch fish without a fishing rod.)

That’s how it’s done

The following months will be dark times. We can have no congress, no population, and no resource bonuses, but we will still can have a spirit. It is quite ironic that our independence day is the day we are wiped, but when we rid our former lands of TWO scum, the day will be even sweeter.

Yep, that sweet

I would humbly propose that, for now, our best course of action would be to head south for some tacos, tequila shots, and tanning. While we’re at it, we can grab some Thai versions of Mexico’s tasty treats that have been gaining popularity lately. Of course, while some of the squad chows down, the rest of us will be rigging a little surprise in the back of the shack.

No one messes with Mexibro!

Our plan is that Mexico will be grateful enough for our wiping out the competition in their economy that they will recognize the real danger of TWO forces in North America and put all their force into liberating the USA. Meanwhile, we are a nomadic bunch of freedom fighters, wandering through the Americas, fighting to rid our land of TWO oppression, knowing that our time will come. Personally, I predict that that time will be before thanksgiving. If I am sound in my prediction, Americans will, in a few short months, sit round the fire on a brisk autumn eve, telling stories about their part in throwing out the invaders from our land.

The 1st C4 regiment in camp near Monterrey. One can only hope we’ll do this in America.

This is C4 signing off, who knows where I’ll be when I write next? A nomad has little certainty in that. One thing I know, I’ll be hitting the roads wherever C4 is needed to fight for our allies.
