Day 2734; 24 hour inflation is 6%
on day 2733 the inflation index was 998.49
today 2734 that rose 6% to 963.99
Now we have something happening, it appears someone might be trying to overthrow the dictator. and that would require a lot of food and weps and gold for EBs.

Looking for a good inflation value?
I was thinking gold could work almost by itself, but then again some people only buy food and weps and so gold would not be a good indicator.
wage by itself might be a good indicator, because as prices rise wages would rise. but then again

The amount of currency!
The amount of currency in game effects prices, if you have 2800 currency in your account and want ten gold you buy gold.
If you have 6.50 currency in your account and want to buy a q7 wep you buy a q7 wep.
