[IU] Secretary General Summary of No PP Campaign Articles (Day 1851)

Day 1,851, 07:29 Published in India Canada by Addy Lawrence

Foreward...

In my previous article I committed to running an article today to report on the campaign progress of all the candidates for PP of India United. Enjoy the read.

On the marked lack of campaign articles for PP of India United...

Not a single campaign article has been released by any of the ten candidates for PP of India United. None. When I followed up within the party thread about this I received this response:

"Addy, in INDIA normally PP election no campaign, we mostly vote who is senior or most trustworthy thats the reason you are not seeing any PP election campaign."

Interesting.

Akshit Thakur of Forward Bloc has a PP campaign article. It's lulzy, however he makes a commitment to get at least five members into congress.

Militiadis1 of YUUVA India has a PP campaign article. He commits to getting 19 members of his party elected to congress as well as increasing activity on the party forum. He also promises to listen to the members.

It is odd that two of the top three parties have candidates who are campaigning in the media for support whereas the third does not despite a very public invitation to do so.

As Secretary General of India United I regret to inform the members that not a single PP candidate published an article seeking support for their PP candidacy.

On the irony of asking the politically ambitious to sit idle...

When my colleagues and I joined eIndia nearly two months ago, there was concern that some sort of political take-over was afoot. This was not the case. Regardless, one condition of our entry into eIndia was that we could not run for elected positions for a period of time while we focused on integrating into eIndia. We agreed as an act of good faith.

I find it very ironic that so many politically ambitious and talented and good intentioned citizens were asked to stay on the sidelines so that "this" could be preserved.

eIndia has issues and they aren't being addressed. It is apparent to me that India United will not be leading the resolution of these issues this term.

On the seniority and trustworthiness of citizens who have placed their in-game candidacy...

India United acknowledges the candidacy for Party President of the following citizens, in alphabetical order:

Akshay.IN, Level 27, born July 4, 2012
Asmitatheone, Level 41, born February 20, 2011
Chengis Khan, Level 27, born August 10, 2012
Dinesh Raju, Level 26, born October 8, 2012
games.k67, Level 20, born December 11, 2012
Nimshh, Level 21, born November 15, 2012
Rahul k, Level 30, born March 17, 2009
Samnorugh, Level 27, born May 2, 2012
ShockWavve (incumbant), Level 28, born July 26, 2012, said he was leaving the game

Based on the criteria of "senior, and most trustworthy" I have noted the e-birthdate and level of each of the candidates. As far as trustworthiness goes, I will let you be the judge of that.

Ironically, one of our candidates has already pointed out two other candidates as being untrustworthy and two more as too early to be trusted. I guess this all assumes that this candidate is trustworthy to begin with.

Denouement

eIndia has surprised me once again. The more I get involved with eIndia the more surprised I get. Good luck to all PP Candidates for India United.
