Want to Become Immortal? Help Us Out!
Nihon no Koe
The Ministry of Culture and Events is planning to start some new holidays, possibly a festival. In order to do this, we need to hear from you, our fellow citizens. What kind of holidays would you like to see occur in eJapan in the future? Tell us your thoughts and ideas here: http://nipponblog.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=969
There is a possibility of up to five new holidays being chosen, so we need lots of ideas to choose from! The winners will have their names immortalized in the hearts and minds of the eJapanese people, as well as in the Wiki regarding the festival! So hurry up and let us know what you're thinking!

I'M PRETTY SURE EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT DAY IS NEEDED
WOW FIREWORKS
Then why not calmly remind us of what that day would be in the suggestion thread WITHOUT SHOUTING?
;_;
Awesome day, an everyday celebration of how awesome we are.
How about 肝試し?
Kimodameshi. Test of courage / trial of guts.
It's a popular event usually held during camping or field trip. Outdoor version of the haunted house.
Here is the wikipedia page: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/肝試し" target="_blank">http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/肝試し
That would be a perfect day to tell or write ghost stories. Or maybe arrange some kind of art competition?
Wanting to become immortal? Hmm, I know a better way.
Drink Hourai Elixir!
Anyone who drinks this forbidden elixir will cease to age, never become sick, and will not remain dead no matter how many times one is killed. One will be as vulnerable to damage as before, but will regenerate from any injury; critical injuries will be healed in a matter of days. Complete destruction results in complete restoration.
The Hourai Elixir is permanent. When tasted, one will be rendered forever and independent of the Hourai Elixir itself. With just one taste, the consumer is rendered ageless. With a second, the burden of sickness, illness, and disease is lifted, and one can never again experience them. With a third taste, the very concept of life and death is casted away altogether, and the consumer is made completely immortal to the point in which one is rendered to an irreversibly deathless state, where impossible standards must be met in order for them to be changed back. At this point, no power, force, or manipulation of any kind has any effect. Death at this point is impossible. Anyone who drinks the Hourai Elixir will be forced to live for an eternity with absolutely no exceptions. Unfortunately, the Hourai Elixir only makes one live forever; pain of injuries can still be felt.
I'm not a Japanese citizen therefore I can not post in your calumnies thread.
Three words: INTERNATIONAL YURI DAY
Mitsurugi Day. A celebration of me and how great I am.
And how awful you separatists are. Culture will be mine once more!
That's right, Afanasiy Drago is the President of Spain, and not at all related to Japan.
I'm the President of North Vietnam
I, for one, think a Mitsurugi Day would be a brilliant idea.
(Of course, this would rely on Reiji supporting an "Issadyth Day", in which we spend most of our time lurking, being unproductive, hoarding money and occasionally complaining about politics.. Which reminds me.)
Damn you dirty politicians! Etc!
