As some of you remember, "The Word-Now" was once a growing empire of information.
What ever happened to 60+ Voters a day? Well I ,the writer and chief editor, wasn't able to make "The Word" every day ,so it hasn't really been consistent.
I love to look back at the prices of things, the events taking place, and the people I met. It is so fun to look at these things such as the following:
The first official article of "The Word" was published 6 months ago, the presidential election was coming up,and a complete analysis of each candidate was published.
On 12/06/08 , Q2 guns prices where at $6, Benn Dover was re-elected, Greece was conquered, Australia was liberated and this one company gave out 3 q2 guns per person that started working for them. Food was being sold at $1.70
On 12/13/08 the final count of votes are at 95."The Word" was now America's number 15th best newspaper. "The Word" also mentioned about how someone was making a list of "100 most important Americans".I also put in how much it would literally cost you to buy the items that are listed in the "Twelve Days of Christmas".
On Christmas Eve the list of what Santa Claus was called around the world was posted.
"The Word" was there when "Operation: French Toast" started and failed. We were there when "Operation Taco Bell" did the same thing.
Yes these were the days of "The Word" these days where great days but what ever happened to those days? Well I left to go camping for a week, and I had other distractions (right Now I am focusing on repairing my town from devastation) By the time I came back a good chunk of my readers left the country or had quit the game.Basically they were gone.
About every day I would be paid for an ad on "The Word" I got about $20 Average for them, but now I have an average of none.
The Word still lives on but at heart we remember the striving subscriber numbers, the praise, and oh the sweet fun.
I ask you, my dear readers, what do you suppose I can do to improve "The Word"?

Viva La word
Memories are good things...
Move further and cherish those memories of the past...
There is still fun in the game and you still can strive
for even more readers than you have now...
I think we all will have a 'dead' moment sometime, but it's
case to move on then...
Use the memories of the past as an extra drive to do better...
Viva La Word!
Dang.. those WERE good days 😃
Remember who was your Advertiser guy? 😛
Yeah I do,but what was his name? Marines? Airforce? Army? gee I forgot XP
Haha.. Good times
Viva La Word!
I can imagine running the Word must have been a lot of work. I for one would really like to see regular updates on eAmerican and new world politics. Economic stats are more readily available now, but I'd definitely be willing to buy some ads in a Political Word 🙂
I got your customer service ticket, and I appreciate its submission.
As to "make it better," I really enjoyed the Word and it's leaving a record of price shifts. I will admit to using them zealously when we were in tax discussion in Congress and were invaluable when looking up comparisons from December and January.
I think your previous format was spot-on unique and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint is how few are produced these days, although I can understand.
