V2: On using Training Grounds and the Library effectively

Hello everyone,
V2 has begun and with it all sort of analysis on the best way to develop ones character in a cost effective manner. For most Citizens of the new world Gold is a scarce commodity and which leads to the question? How do we use our boosters effectively? Should we use boosters at all?
From this question i would like to focus briefly on the: Training grounds and Library
The analysis is largely dependant on income in terms of gaining the most skill you can each day.
For sake of simplicity of this illustration let us round up the costs of all boosters:
Napoleon and Success Stories - 200% for 1.8 Gold
Caesar's Battles and Keynes Theories - 100% for 1.5 Gold
Boot camp and Production Basics - 50% for 0.2 Gold
Army Boots and Business 101 - 10% for 0 Gold
At the very start of this analysis we can plainly see that Caesar's battles and Keynes theories are a highly ineffective booster not worth putting your points in. Even if one had enough to train with Caesar every day they would also have enough to train with Napoleon every two days which would amount to the same effectiveness while saving money. So for purposes of this analysis in any instance that one would consider using Caesar -> Napoleon will always be more effective.
However what is interesting about V2 is the fact that Boot Camp and Napoleon are not quite as clear cut as Caesar and Napoleon. (Or Success Stories and Keyne).
Basically this analysis comes down to -> The highest sustainable stat gain in relation to sustainable income.
To break this down you only need to ask yourself one question: Can you train with Napoleon with a frequency of once per four days or better? If so then the answer is clearly Napoleon; however, for the rest of us it will be Boot camp: Let me demonstrate.
Let us assume that our base stat gain is 5 and that we are trying to maximize our stat gain over time:
At four days you can see that Napoleon barely pushes past bootcamp but is farther along all the same:
1) With Napoleon:
Day 1 -> 15 (Napoleon 200😵
, Day 2 -> 5.5 (Army Boots), Day 3 -> 5.5 (Army Boots), Day 4 -> 5.5 (Army Boots)
Stats gaine😛
31.5
Cost in Gol😛
1.8
2) With Boot Camp:
Day 1 -> 7.5 (Boot Camp 50😵
, Day 2 -> 7.5 (Boot Camp), Day 3 -> 7.5 (Boot Camp), Day 4 -> 7.5 (Boot Camp)
Stats gaine😛
30
Cost in Gol😛
0.8
The Breakpoint as you can guess is a frequency of 5 days or more:
1) With Napoleon (Just add 5.5 to the total)
Stats gaine😛
37
Cost in Gol😛
1.8
2) With Boot Camp (Just add 7.5 to the total)
Stats gaine😛
37.5
Cost in Gol😛
1
The same principle also applies to the library as well.
So as you can see if you are looking to use boosters but cannot afford the 200% bonus at least once every 4 days it is not worth using as you instead can use boot camp 9 times with the same resources.
Best of luck in future battles!

I was wondering about the cheapest route for training...thanks for giving the stats.
good work, ill be quoting it at some point im sure
V for epic
Voted!!! Thanks again for the stats.
Anyone worked out what the gain is for training longer than the four hours listed? Would one set of training at 16 hours with Napoleon be better than training every day? You could train 16 hours with napoleon one day, then on the second day just relax to get back your happiness with that same 16 hours. This would let you train with Napoleon for 48 hours in 6 days for 5.4 gold. That is the equivalent of 12 days at 4 hours. Of course this is assuming you can train that long, I haven't checked.
Yes but don't you get a bigger bang for your buck for using Napoleon for 12 hours than you would for 4 hours? 12 hours at 1.8 vs 4 hours at 1.8 sounds a lot better to me.
Etemenanki whenever you look at it you have to consider the total resources in both time and money. The maximum one can train for at any given time is 12 hours, but even in the analysis above you could easily convert it into chunks of hours or an entire day interchangeably as long as you were consistent.
In other words consider the article analysis in terms of per hour as opposed to per session and the same should apply even in your example.
Etemenanki,
Yes you do get better bang for your buck training for 12 rather than training for 4 hours; however, when developing a training regiment you need to consider how often you are training with Napoleon. Whether it is for four hours or twelve hours if you can only do it at a frequency of 1 per 5 or greater you are wasting money and should be using boot camp.
I understand that. What I am arguing is that one could choose to train for 12 hours one day, then not train the next day, then go back to training the day after that. If your training for 12 hours, it would be highly beneficial to use napoleon on those days in which you train longer. In the end, what I was really looking to inform people of was that you would be best served using Napoleon on days in which you train for a long period of time, rather than simply 4 hours.
I'm not disagreeing with your analysis just presenting this form of training to be contemplated.
lol, oh, I am simply using napoleon as one of the options. Personally, I have never used a training aid, aside from the new free one. I'm not a fan of Lana the gold sucking vampire.
It is not always better to use Napoleon though even if you train for 12 hours. It will be dependant on the frequency you are able to use Napoleon that will make him worthwhile.
And agreed Etemenanki, if you are going to spend money one would want to train as many hours as is feasible 😁;
Someone should Free TemujinBC
After all, he uses all the max gold boosters, and helps Canada 😃
Temujin, Admins have already demonstrated that game numbers, productivity formulas, and the value of currency do not matter. Game mechanics are no longer relevant. Therefore, role play now rules the roost.

Sorry to invade this topic, but is there a guide for locating the friends list in an Org. My friends list seems to either be missing or deleted. Is this an option they have disabled for Orgs in V2?
V & S.
there is no point using boosters at all
Response to this article http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/logic-on-how-to-use-boosters-and-the-new-system-in-general-1451979/1/20">http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/logi[..]/1/20 in some depth.
Good article. Much more productive than the whine articles that keep popping up. Thanks for the fresh air. A game that provides new challenges is a good thing. It needed more than the two click to stay interesting. Most nations already had the mechanics down pat and it was time to shake it up so older players don't leave due to excessive boredom. Mastering new mechanics provides a challenge. Accept it as such.
