Tiszteletrol az Erepublikban
leandros
Sziasztok,
Ritkan irok a mediaban, ezert illene egy rovid bemutatkozas. Erdelyi magyar vagyok, jelenleg kongresszusi tag Kozep Magyarorszagban (Central Hungary) a Liberalis Part reszerol.
Tisztelettel,
Leandros
English
I rarely have an appearance in the eRepublik media, thus I will shortly introduce myself.
I am a Hungarian, living in Romania, member of the eRomanian Congress (Liberal Party) for 1 month in the Central Hungary region.
As I said I rarely write due to time constraints, but when I do, I write because I see something wrong. I remember when I first started to play eRepublik, I almost left it, because I read many impulsive and aggressive comments in the media regarding the Romanian – Hungarian war. As a pacifist person, I did not like to see any conflicts arise in this virtual world that we have the possibility to build up.
I will not speak about the war itself, as it is not the purpose of this article. I will just mention that as a pacifist, I will always try to promote the friendship and mutual respect in this game.
I would like to speak about the game and the mutual respect in this game, as lately I came across many impulsive comments again from people that take this war on a personal level.
I wish that this war will be just what it is: a virtual war in a virtual game. And the game should not be transformed into anything else. If there is war, let it be (what can we do now), but let's not fight because of the revenge. There are many rational issues people can fight for, let the anger and revenge outside of it. Whatever happens, both eRomania and eHungary are forces in eRepublik, and most probably we will be neighbors for a very long time. And in the long run, only friendship and mutual collaboration are viable answers. And I hope that after the war ends, this thought will be shared by the people on both sides. I believe this is possible and the power of change is in the hands of the ecitizens.
I made lots of friends in these months in eRepublik, both from Romania and Hungary. I really enjoyed when I saw the massive registration of eHungarians. And I really hope that these new members will stay here, and help build up a better virtual future.
Sincerely yours,
Leandros

I wish you'll succeed in the upcoming elections!
Nice article. Unfortunately, this is not a pacifist game. This is a virtual war in a virtual game, but between two RL nations that have some issues that can not go away that easy, and we won't be able to solve these issues in this game, as we can't do it in RL...
Besides, you have to admit, that all this nationalism made the game more interesting. The recent boom of eHungary would not have been possible without this hatred, and Romania has grown on some similar type of propaganda. The biggest expansion of eRomania started during our war against Ukraine and continued due to the fact that we occupied Budapest.
I'm from Timisoara, and I have a lot of RL hungarian friends, I don't have a problem with that. What I'm saying is, that these issues exist whether we like them or not, and we won't solve this problems with nice articles.
Absolutely agree. My favorite sentence was: "There are many rational issues people can fight for, let the anger and revenge outside of it" - it's so true. We can conversate with respect, seeing the human in the opposite site, no matter if we're fighting against each other or not.
Salut. Sunt ungur. Nu vorbesc romaneste. Sorry, my Romanian is very poor, I am from Budapest. I like this game, it is very complex and interactive. And I want to liberate my hometown, of course, as far as possible. This is not the question of nationality, faith or any other shit. It is a game and I am all in 🙂 One day we will drink for the health of the creators of eRep in Szeged or Temesvár/Timisoara!!!
I agree with Pristanda, while many people are taking this game seriously and are hateful, I think this is much fun for everyone. For hungarians: they can pretend they are the Rebel Alliance who is fighting against oppressors. The romanians: Well, they are acknowledged as one of the most powerful countries in this world. Who'd want more?
Anywhoo, I'm having fun. 🙂
There is no offense from my side. Hungarian and Romanian people were together mourning for Marian Cozma.
But Romania took our lands, and since they were inherently ours, we will reclaim them. All that we want is what we had before. Justice for Hungary!
I must agree with this article. In the real world, some people in from our two nations just can't get along due to historical issues, and this has it's effect in this game - we have been arguing over Transylvania for hundreds of years.
However, if we want a change on this situation (and we should want, shouldn't we? It's retarded to hate someone for something his grandfather's dad did), we have to start somewhere.
From a rational viewpoint, eHungary has most of it's eHomeland occupied by eRomania, so we, the eHungarians should be and are working on getting these eLands back by any means, and i obviously agree with this. However, reading how some people trashtalk the other nation's citizens based not on the events in this game, but on their one-sided viewpoint they're bringing from the real world really disgusts me.
Friendship and respect?
WHen they conquered OUR land?
No bloody way! They are agressors even in the game!!!

I agree with you, every man should be provided respect (until the point when they prove not worhty of it).
ePeople, behave yourselves like civilised citizens!
I've met this problem in other games too. Both sides have some real fanatists, who thinks, he/she is superior. I don't understand Hekkat, and even Quicksilver, because we got a pretty good peace offer. They doing the same mistake, what the RL politicians did in the WWI or WWII . It will be very hard (almost impossible)to win against Romania in a face-to-face fight. They have more citizens than us, and their average level is higher. I don't say, we should fall back, but if we get a new offer, like the previous 2, we should think about it. The good politician respects the opponent, and don't live in a dreamworld.
Mindenkinek jo es kulturalt jatekot es sok sikert kivanok!!!
tetszik a hozzaallasod, en is igy latom a dolgokat
es azt sajnalom hogy ebben a jatekban tobb a primitiv magyar mind a primitiv roman. mikor valaki azert lep be ajatekba mert gyuloli a masik nemzetet es akar harcolni ellene virtualisan ... az mar nem gyerekes/beteges.
imi place punctul tau de vedere, si eu vad lucrurile cam tot in acest fel. imi pare rau ca in jocul acesta sunt mult mai multi maghiari primitivi decat romani primitivi. cand cineva intra in joc pentru ca uraste cealalta natiune si vrea sa se bata cu ei virtual ....consider acest lucru copilaresc/bolnav
Voted, suscribed, agreed.
Anyway i want world domination 🙂
Let's play, do not hate your eEnemy, maybe he is your Boss! 😁
Agree, voted. Finally an article generated a valuable discussion, expressions of mutual respect with minimum spam. Thanks leandros, Pristanda and all others.
