Thinking

Day 583, 20:14 Published in Greece Greece by Anthonios

Dear Friends,

I wanted to let everyone know that I am taking into consideration leaving eGreece. It is not a final decision yet, but I am definetly considering it. I believe that I have given a lot to eGreece, and I would like to give more, yet my current position denies me that priveledge. Greece will never become a multiple party state if it continues this way.(Don't deny it, Greece is a one-party state). I find proof in common things like our chat(every moderator is a member of EEK), our forum(yet again, every admin is a member of EEK), and how quickly new players have become major political players, attaning positions in the Greek Government that I still haven't yet achieved, all through the EEK. It felt like a good decision at the time, but I now believe that the establishment of Greek Government as a party was a mistake, and that two parties should have been created in it's stead. We would have been no more vulnerable, in the fact that Im a positive that both would unite for the common good in the face of a TO, as we have seen this election.

I believe my time in Greece has ended, the non-Greek speakers have lost there majority, and "true" Greeks have gained the lead. With this major change in politics, I feel as if it has become much harder for non-Greeks to achieve what would be simple for Greeks. If I leave, my main message to the members of the Hellenic Government would be, welcome new players, accept and embrace foriegn cultures and do not cultivate a hostile culture. Most of those things are in effect right now, by I sense the path towards less tolerance is becoming more popular.

My final message is that I will always vividly remember my friends here, and the resistance through the old forums that we led without the hostility that we witness now. I would like to thank all that helped me throughout this game. If I do leave, please know that the good of eGreece will always be first and foremost in my mind.
Thank you.

P.S. Ill probably post this article twice, as it is very late in Greece right now
