The Total Importance of the Local Elections

The more I have been thinking about this the more scared I have become. We cannot let the IR party win the local elections. If IR mayors control Ireland then they effectively can destroy any Irish company. I have seen this done in Japan where they used mayoral power to regulate companies. Knowing their economic bent minds I am sure Victor or someone is planning this. If they gain a region and an IR man is amyor they can set company taxes at whatever they want say 500 IEP. Now who can afford to pay 500 IEP for each company. Well that part is simple all of the IR companies will recieve money from the president. All of the Irish companies will fail given they dont have 500 IEP. All of Vicotr's suspicious donations are most likely for this purrpose. I have several solutions to this problem which I will post om the Irish forum at erepublikireland.freeforums.org

Not entirely sure I\'d have posted this here.... But the solution posted in the forums would be most welcome for the proper eIrish business owners I guess.
Patton, if we would want to make this, you could not do nothing. All we had to do is to move, all of us, in the most important region regarding the number of companies and to wait to vote. But we didn\'t. So chill out. Some people might belive you.
I will say again - we are here to stay, so it\'s in our best interest to make eIreland grow.
We will have our local candidates, we are a political party and that is normal.
But we will not do anything to destroy the local companies.
Just like you did nothing to destroy the local economy and the local currency eh Victor ? Ye - I seriously wouldn\'t have printed this here...
Len, the local currency was strong because nobody ever used it. You had 1 exchange done every week. The currency was not \"STRONG\", it was maintained there artificially by the LACK OF ACTIVITY on the IEP-GOLD and GOLD-IEP markets.
As soon as people started trading, IT CRASHED.
Thanks to MONTHS of leadership from you intelligent, smart, economists.
we didn\'t destroyed anything man
Because there was nothing to destroy!
at first currency wasn\'t traded due to lack of gold in irish market. We had a large influx of gold when USN people came here and that made the market a little more attractive. Now you started flooding the market with printed IEP and your \"open borders\" have caused even more IEP being offered from importers. There was no offers of gold however to balance it and market went downhill. All thanks to your policies.
I might be wrong, but I don\'t think that the house tax and company tax can be enforced. Everyone pays them if they please.
The mayor is pretty useles and as I understand it will be removed from v1...
Secondly, why would Victor want to do that? What would he gain from this?
If you dont pay your housing or company tax you lose it of course its enforced.
Personally I have already converted my IEP to gold because of the massive inflation... and I\'m still not sure when it would be good to convert it back...
As long as all companies have paid their taxes for this month already, they will have to win two local elections to destroy our companies.
Plus all that happens if you don\'t pay the company tax is that your company loses all its money (I think) which is avoidable by just taking out all the money on the last day of the month.

I was doing money exchange in eIreland for quite a time before you came, It was doing just fine.
I\'m not convinced the taxes are enforced. I didn\'t pay my housing tax last month, but didn\'t care to watch my account to see if the amount was subtracted automatically.
But I remember a discussion about how pointless mayors are, and the idea was that those taxes are not payed unless the user wants to...
