The Same Old Song and Dance in this War

Day 663, 12:17 Published in USA USA by RomanEmpire

Here we are again, on the defensive. This seems vaguely reminiscent of the initial invasion of the war. Russia is doing most of the pushing, and Colombia is making sure we do not gain the initiative (like Portugal and Indo had done in Phase I). And once again, Florida seems to be where the PEACE road trip is heading. We are losing territory left and right, and things only seem to be getting worse.

Our allies in Europe are once again under attack, with Turkey after the Greek Aegean Islands, Hungary after Northwest Croatia, and Slavonia (Croatian) under attack by Serbia as well. Slavonia is not looking to good, but Northwest Croatia is starting to make a small comeback. Turkey had no real chance of taking anything from Greece, so the Aegean Islands are pretty safe.

Back on our side of the war, we have one huge stopper for the PEACE advance. Florida currently has the highest starting wall of any region in the eWorld. Currently, with 9000+ citizens stationed there, the Russians must pull down a nearly 1.5 million point wall. That is an absolutely enormous amount of damage to deal, just to equalize the wall. Knowing that the US and allies will put up a good 2+ million damage points in defense, the enemy must be saving a ton of money for tanking in this future battle.

This war is far from over. We will eventually regain the initiative, and push out the Colombians with ease. The Russians will take a while, but they will eventually be done for. And then just as we get rid of Russia, PEACE will pull some other annoying trick out of their hats to keep the war up for another month. We all know that they have plenty of Colombias up their sleeves, and they are not afraid to use them.

It is very clear that neither side can loose this war. At least, nobody can be conquered in this war. It is just like the Orwellian world of 1984, the superpowers can never defeat each other. The true winners of this war will be those who wasted less gold in fighting, and whoever regains more lost territory. Lets face it, the defender have the advantage on that last point. If we just regain our old territories, and we win, not because we defeated them, but because they lost. They lost when they failed to accomplish their mission. Its not all their fault. It was impossible for them to win in the first place. So until this thing is done, keep up the good fight Americans!

Go USA!!!
Go FORTIS/EDEN!!!
Death to PEACE!!!
