Join the new world

Well ladies and gentlemen I was as surprised as you probably are now when Vaclav approached me about this position. Me and my son and partner H.W. Hat were packing our bags and ready to leave the country in hopes of finding prosperity elsewhere. I put my blood and sweat into helping former President Vaclav during his presidency and felt I had done all that I could in my previous position. I thank him from the bottom of my heart by rebuilding my confidence and capability in the short amount of time he has provided me.

As your new party leader I wish to express my feelings towards you all and towards our country the Czech Republic. I was currently on an inactive spree once the presidential elections of Baci and the new congress so bare with me if I appear to be out of date on a few things….

My social and political ideals are moderate. I do not approve of a totalitarian state but I approve of social and political unification. What Baci and Vaclav have done to the Czech Republic over the past month and a half is something I didn’t expect to see within this country. I came here when there were less than two-hundred citizens and we were in the lower quarter of all the nations of Erepublik. What I see now is a completely different country, one that is nearly capable of standing up on its own two feet in the global spectrum.

I will be switching our party views to moderate and make our long term goals more open to other cultures and nation-states. We must open our minds and hearts to the world around us. The way we are headed is a stronger nation but doing so will hurt us as a whole. The nation will stand tall in the eastern block of Europe. We must increase our ally count; we must throw off our old hatreds and seek a political scheme of sincerity and forgiveness, even if we weren’t in the wrong we have to let our past wounds heal if we are to ever gain their trust and respect.

People of the United Slavs; I, Ivan Hat, plan to bridge the gap between us and our neighbors. I plan to open our eyes to the wonders this eWorld has, to let our people experience a pro-Czech economy with the allures of foreign nations. And most certainly of all I plan to make the glorious nation of the Czech Republic one of the greatest nations this world has ever seen!
