The eIndian Economy

Day 498, 03:10 Published in India South Korea by Ambrose Didymus

There have been many welcome changes in the seven days since this publication last reported on the eIndian economy. This article will discuss how a committed republik has taken the first steps on rebuilding their nation.

Regions

Despite ongoing discussions with the eIndonesian government to negotiate the reclamation of former eIndian territories, eIndia still has one solitary region, Orissa.

This isn't all bad news. Having one region allows eIndians to consolidate resources and focus efforts on developing a sustainable economy.

Raw Materials

The low potential for raw materials hasn't stopped investment in Orissa.

Most production companies have found importing cheap raw materials from other parts of The New World only a slight hindrance to getting on with business, while tax reductions in the Iron and Grain industries has encouraged foreign corporations to offer products in the eIndian marketplace.

Companies

A total of ten companies actively operate out of Orissa. Listed, ordered by the number of employees:

45 - FoodEZ Q1 (Q1)
30 - Ambrosia Travel (Q1)
10 - East India Company Iron Mining (Q1)
10 - IWC Weapons (Q5)
9 - Cares Food (Q2)
9 - IND Resistance & Freedom (Q1)
5 - Cares TickeT (Q1)
5 - Swastik Sweets (Q2)
2 - Free Indian Weapons (Q1)
1 - Rags Logs (Q1)

A thriving moving ticket industry has seen improved tax receipts flow into the federal treasury, but the introduction of IWC Weapons could see the bulk of eIndia's future growth resting in the hands of the weapons industry.

Conclusion

A committed effort by the citizens of eIndia to rebuild their republik has had excellent results so far. Congress is promoting investment by reducing taxes, industry is rebuilding, and most importantly a community is developing.

More work is needed, but a bright future beckons for all eIndians who work hard to get there. If you would like to join in on the conversation and have a say in how your republik operates, join the eIndia forums!
