I am excited! This election will bring in new people and their new ideas! I must say, it's been difficult for me to operate with only one active congressman left.
Who we elect is crucial. I've compiled a list of people I believe are good candidates, and then a list of questionable candidates. Please vote accordingly!

**Congressional Tax**
A final note: I'd just like to mention that it has become common etiquette in eAustria for elected congressmen to donate 3 of the 5 gold they receive to the Austrian Central Bank as bonus revenue for the country. Nearly every congressman did so last election and I was quite impressed. I know that the gold helped immensely. Those of you that do will be commemorated in an article following the election.

It should also be noted that Ice80 also ran for the RWR party presidency last election cycle but still have yet to hear or see anything published by him.
Has anyone else noticed that Silent Bob has returned to Austria? I see he's running for President in the next presidential election.

Hi All,
My name is under the questionable candidates list, and with good cause.
I came to eAustria (and specifically Upper Austria) because you simply did not have the minimum amount of candidates running in that region.
Initially I was thinking about just taking the 5 gold and leaving, but eAustria looks fairly interesting and if it can maintain my interest i'll stay.
Much like rjreddings, i agree that the government that governs best, governs least.

As minister of Finance, I am confident in all of the proposed Congressionals. Rot Weiss Rot Bis in den Tod!
I'm also agreed with Ambrose and Rjeddings that a government that governs least governs best ect, etc (usually).
Finally, I'd like to state my sincerest concern on the return of Silent Bob. He is a bad, bad person and should be either avoided or hindered.

Can some people on the "candidates of quality" list from Styria move to one of the other regions. There is no point in having 15 good congressmen in a region that can only elect 9 while other regions only have 2-3 people known to be loyal to austria running. That will help weed out some of the foreigners from getting a congress seat.
I have told my Congressional Director to try and move our proposals about.
All, what I want to do is to raise Grain import tax. Austria is rich to produce Grain and got high resource in Lower Austria. I think we should create our competative advantage to boost our grain industry. I think 20% for import tax can also benefit to our treasury fund.
