Join the new world

I'm proud, and honored, to say that I have been elected to Congress. When I came to eSouth Africa all those months ago last spring, I had no plans or intentions on staying. I wanted to see The New World, and South Africa was my first stop, not because I knew anything about, but because the Brazilians were attempting a PTO at the time. Since then, things have changed. Not just for myself, but for everyone who plays Erepublik.

Despite some tasteless and less than polite actions by a very few candidates, the elections went off splendidly, and I'd like to congratulate those who won, and offer my sincere condolences to those who didn't.

As I stated in my platform, I will uphold the Independent Alternative ideal of non-ideology, of no BS politics. I will protect the gains eSouth Africa has won for itself, and I will protect the promise of more to come in the future.
