Today is the day! t'jelle Bank is having its IPO and is ready to go public. We have been in operation for over 4 months now and have achieved the status as the largest bank in eRepublik. We have over 140 depositors, and nearly 2,000 Gold in deposits.
In order to become a shareholder, you must simply donate the current share price to "t'jelle Bank Vault 2A" in either Gold or USD. If you want two shares then donate 2x the share price, etc. We will then notify you of the completed transaction and send you a contract if you want one. Before sending money to t'jelle Bank, make sure you post your request here and also be sure that we have enough shares left to give you.
How we decide share value:
(Holdings + Bank Assets + [Deposits - Holdings] ) - Interest Due
Amount of Shares
The current share price is: Please see the forum post for the most up to date share price

Reliant Group (owner of the Reliant Market http://eReliant.us/market" target="_blank">http://eReliant.us/market ) is purchasing some shares!
Is there a minimun of shares to buy? Thanx
I bought one. :3
We'd like 40 shares please.
Gabriela - There is no minimum, you can buy as little or as much as you wish.
I have bought one :3
What advantages are there to owning shares in your ebank? Can we expect dividends? Are there any kind of shareholder meetings?
Dividends are currently set at 1.2 USD per share monthly. Next month, after we are more comfortable with the system we will base dividends off of profit.
There is a website dedicated to shareholder's which contains future plans, financial information, etc.
A lot of info can be found at the thread where you purchase shares.
so the price per share is STARTING at .71 gold? so does that mean that the price will eventually be in the control of what the buyers and sellers debate it to be at?
what is the volume of shares you're selling at (the price per share * the number of tradable shares = the market cap [what the overall business is worth])?
And this is very important that should be brought up, are you going to start coming out with income statements now that it's a publicly traded company? because without income statements, no one knows what the companies revenue is... or if there even is one!
If everything matchs up I would like to purchase 30 shares
cardiff, we are selling shares at .72 Gold (the price went up yesterday) and that price will be slightly affected by what price people are trading their shares at.
Both of your other questions are answering in previous articles, we release detailed financial statements every month to the public, and have an updated spreadsheet you can look at also.
