Private Corporations To The Rescue

As shown by Brian Boru in his last article Ireland just got screwed over on resources. All we have is the basic grain plus iron. So we can make food and weapons. We definitely need to find some wood and oil resources and that is where the private corporations come in. ISG, Pure Group, and Dugonia Industries have been talking about a joint venture to ensure Ireland gets its resources. We are perfectly able to handle this and all we need would be for the government to make some key trade agreements. Personally I think the UK and/or the US are the places we need to secure our resources and we should go about getting those trade agreements up ASAP.

An all-party meeting needs to happen on this issue ASAP.
I think if your companies want a share and you want the gov to help the gov should have a share too.
Aye, a Private-Public Partnership is the best solution for this I think.
they are going to destroy their own game.
but well I have my q2 house, I don\'t need anything better.
RE:All Party meeting.
I will contact as many party leaders as I can tonight or over the week and see what we can do.
We have a trade agreement with Brazil...we can get the wood from there.
Aye, that we can.
We should seriously look at Norway - it has everything we are missing.
Well at least I know were to set-up my next company.
Also Brazil have everything we are missing....
good idea 😃
Does it ? Well then to Brazil
Ill be honest, i think that making a company in Canada, and making a trade agreement may be a possible idea.
Other ideas include Indonesia, India,.
Pure Group planned to hold 2 of the Raw Materials in Ireland anyway, so they are covered, along with the new company...
Shame theres naff all else we will be able to do come V1... If the romainians havent left already, they will be once v1 is out for sure...
ahhh, ive been reading again, and this bit intrests me.
For example: In the Italian regions you won\'t find diamonds, so the region productivity value for diamond companies will be 0.1 in all its regions.
Now, 0.1 in there formula would produce a product, but it would be of 1/10th of the production value?
Not sure if im correct, but that would make a little more sense...
@Pure Grouo Have you verified the wages of the canadians? (are very big)
I would strongly suggest that everyone stocks up big time in the areas that we lack resources... its going to be a tough month...
Australia has tons of resources. Help us get a little thing called Independence and we can talk about sending over some Diamonds. 😉
The IRB are currently conisdering helping you aussies out.
Maybe America would work better because it has more people and we can get employees easy
I now have 2 SO\'s in place in the USA. One is in California to take advantage of the 2 oil bonus and the other is in Tennesee for the 2 wood bonus there. As of now I am not going after diamonds or iron
Patton, how much investment is needed?
Raxo independence is a good idea. Stupid indos.
Patton you shouldnt get so excited and spend cash before you know the configuration of the V1.
In total I have around 55 gold. I have to raise at least 35. I just recieved an investment for 15 Gold so I still need 20 gold. I will be accepting more then gold though because I will need money for wages.
Haven\'t spent anything yet Ciarin just getting everything ready
SO\'s are being replaced for something else real soon patton. (Though I can\'t remember what...)
Are they ? Will SO\'s cost money soon ?
I have an SO in Krasnoyarsk (Russian region ruled by Norway) which has \"2\" in every resource we are missing - Also I have over 100 gold to spend...
I have 30g to invest aswell...
Patton if you made 2 SO\'s you just made 10 gold. Any idea what your going to do with that?
Well one SO i already had so I only made 5 gold but I was planning on using it to get those companies. Just business 101
Hi. Now I\'m in Japan but won\'t stay here whe V1 starts, probably. My idea is to go to some resource rich place (Australia maybe) and setup an raw material export company to Ireland. If it looks like a good Idea PM me and we\'ll see.
I personally think that raw materials will prove to be a bad change for this game.
How can countries like Ireland compete with other countries when we only have iron and grain as raw materials? In real life Ireland has other benefits, for example one of the lowest unemployment rates and healthy economy.
Just my 2 cents...
