Primary Election Results (Not yet...)

Day 975, 16:37 Published in Thailand Thailand by Thai Ministry of Communication

The primary results will be announced at 23:00 eRep time today. As per the agreement, all non-PTO Party Presidents should endorse the winning candidate. The results will be announced in another article published by this ORG.

Also, as a brief note. There have been allegations of election fraud in the primary system by one candidate. In order to dispel these allegations, screenshots have been taken of votes cast via PM in-Game, and sent to a neutral authority. This authority has verified the truth and cleanliness of these results. The Director of this Org will ask him to publicly state this in the Comments section of this newspaper article upon his return. This citizen is a trusted figure, who did not vote in the election at all to preserve his neutrality.

I will give a brief teaser of the results so far. No candidate has 50% of the vote as of yet, although one candidate has a plurality. Don't forget, a candidate only needs a plurality to win the primary election. Of the four candidates, two are neck-and-neck with one vote seperating them, while the other two are far behind in the dust. 23 votes have been cast as of right now. 90% of the voters in the first election have voted again in this election.

PREDICTION: The winning candidate will have a plurality of all votes cast, but not necessarily a majority.

As a second helping of good news, the official ballot counter states that only two votes have been counted as "suspect votes". A vote is considered suspect if it comes from a citizen below Level 12, a citizen who has not published any articles, or a suspected Indonesian PTOer.
