Presidential Congress - Address #3

Day 293, 12:48 Published in Czech Republic Czech Republic by Ivan Hat

Ladies and Gentlemen this will be quick since I am currently in between classes

-The Anthem ends and President Ivan Hat walks into the congressional meeting and begins his quick speech-

I would like to discuss the economic and militaristic trends in our economy. Today we slipped, once again, on the total nation scale.

Considering we are in an inflation and the food prices are of appropriate standing to the wages being given I believe that every citizen needs to become a soldier in case our national security becomes in danger. The fact that our total average strength is under the 2.00 Point mark is completely unacceptable considering how long this nation has been around. You do not need to train regularly if your wellness is low but you SHOULD train regardless in case of an attack or the need to export soldiers comes up. We are a neutral nation but we have a chance of not even BEING a nation if our strength is so low. We cannot rely on foreign aid completely in this divided world. It might not be much but the little help our citizens put into this situation the chances of our survival will increase dramatically. Do we want another Hungary-Czech war where we will be obliterated the second the foreign support begins to slow or do we want to be able to sustain ourselves long enough to reach a compromise? I think the decision is obvious, CZECH CITIZENS BECOME SOLDIERS AND TRAIN DAILY TO IMPROVE OUR NATIONAL SECURITY.

Secondly I wish to talk about taxes. My personal beliefs is that we need HIGHER taxes in order to increase the flow of money inward so we can thusly burn it and lower the inflation. But I also feel that we need to “lower” the taxes slightly on the domestic front where most of the business is coming from. Any of your thoughts Gentlemen and Ladies??
