Prague. Love About.

I have been to Prague many times. First time during the flood in 2002. Vltava could not stand the late summer rain showers and the lower bank went under water.

River (sic!) Street

Walking in Jewish Quarter two days after the water has gone was like walking inside a thriller movie. Broken chair designed in 1940's, a wet and yellowish photo from the old album from someone's basement, naked plastic doll and sand on the streets without electricity complete a picture of a day after the armageddon.

Water pumping compressors sound was shaking the walls and mechanic echo was doubled in the narrow streets, like million of Golems were making their job under the thin skin of the city.

I have to admit that Prague impressed me a lot with the Art Nuveau and earlier periods architecture and rich decorated facades. A lonely raven was sitting on the fence and in the twilights you would not be able to judge if it is alive or melted forever into the history of Prague.
