Join the new world

THIS IS NOT ACTUALLY A PLACEHOLDER BUT ER IS BROKEN AND DOESN'T LET ME CHANGE THE TITLE ANY MORE

Near the very end of the past day of the new world, about 8 minutes before eMidnight to be exact, I suddenly revised my plans and spontaneously and suddenly decided to run for congress again (rushing into the DAL channel to ask for open posts, then quickly seizing a moving ticket and jetting off to Newfoundland to hand in my application 2 minutes before they would have been closed). The past few weeks my activity did not exceed that of a two-clicker as I was bound by duties in school, illness, and being busy with other things outside of the game, yet in the recent days I have smoothly found my way back into the game, the recent events, and Canada's politics.

While the worst times of crisis may be over, I still wish to actively support this country. Now that the world war has calmed down and smaller nations are starting to re-emerge as sovereign states and the overall situation is stabilising, I see a variety of opportunities for Canada to tie new friendships abroad. Not too idealistically and with a rational eye yet nonetheless openly I think we should embrace other countries outside of EDEN and seek a multitude of contacts with nations all over the world; to exclude any ones by principle due to their affiliations or past events would be foolish, and we should not at least try. Since there is the possibility that I may become ambassador to Belgium I will already be able to actively pursue this goal, yet also wish to be able to encourage this foreign policy within Canada's congress.

Vast lands are still claimed by the likes of Hungary and Indonesia, both of their very own allies and of innocent and oppressed nations they are hostile towards. Both to ensure that this world will be a just and peaceful one and to polish eCanada's image as an open, friendly nation, I consider it a duty or at least a welcome opportunity for us to aid these countries, be they South Africa, North Korea, Belgium, or whichever you please. This would also benefit EDEN as to rid it of the imperialistic prejudices which may stick to it due to the less glorious past of ATLANTIS and demonstrate to those outside that it is a reliable alliance which cares about its affiliates or even strangers in peril.
