I have a lot of mixed business to tell you today. Secondly, I announce with great glee that another peace loving party is up and running in eTurkey! Dynimum is heading the newly renamed [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/party-411.html]Peoples Equality Party[/a] . I look forward to working with them as the leader of [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/party-108.html]PDV[/a] .

My third order of business is to address what is going on in the TJU. Tatanka has crudely changed the name of their party to The Jewish Unblushings. While I typically do not like to "side" with any group in eTurkey, I have to say that this is appalling and offensive. It is one thing to take over a party, but taking over a party and then insulting it and its people is downright wrong. I am openly inviting all TJU members who are looking for a less hostile environment to join the newly focused PVD. I want to provide a place for all of the people of eTurkey, and one of our main missions is to create equality. This includes political equality for the multiethnic landscape of eTurkey.

Lastly, I would like to pay attention to what happened behind the scenes in eTurkey yesterday. BattalGazi proposed and congress passed 4 tax changes and the citizen fee. The citizen fee has been lowered from 20 TRY to 5 TRY. Moving, food, gift, and weapon industry taxes have been changed to 18% VAT, 5% Income, and 50% Import. While there were many unethical things that occurred in eTurkey yesterday, at least some progress was made on the economical front.

What I learned from yesterday is that the political system in eRepublik has been flawed from its inception. The World Administration Court has assured me that they are working on measures to prevent things like political takeovers from happening in the future. Hopefully, this unfortunate occurrence will help us strengthen the political system for the October 14th launch of V1, when war will be reactivated.
