Welcome

Welcome to the Resistance Ministry of Social Development. Our role is too foster a spirit and unity amongst the people of eSouth Africa, both new and old, experienced and inexperienced, all members or our society. We are here to educate, offer assistance, generate fun, make friendship and encourage our community to grow and flourish.

This term I hope you will see a lot more from the Ministry. My personal aims are too give the Ministry some positive persuasion to be highly active and show some head way tackling our social problems. I firmly believe that the Ministry is important to helping us emerging from the PTO we are in now.

There are to be a few changes this year. The major change is the old promise of more articles, except this time this is going to happen. Secondly we welcome a new Department that you will be introduced to shortly. Before we go any further, I would like to welcome you to our team.


Team Members

Minister of Social Development
Current - SamGibz
Who he is
- SamGibz is ex nearly everything and after starting his political
career in the MoSD a very long time ago, he has returned to re-ignite
the flame
Role - The duties of the MoSD is to keep the ministry running by making sure
the directors in the departments of the MoSD are doing their jobs and
help them with their articles/competitions/programs/tasks. To write articles for the MoSD.

Deputy Minister of Social Development
Current - SuperSlax
Who he is - SuperSlax is a fairly new citizen who started his career by taking on the role of Director of Education and Director of Fun.
Role - The DMoSD’s main role is to assist the MoSD with his/her duties.

Director of Mentorship
Current - Golgavar
Who he is - Golgavar was the previous MoSD, and has now taken on his previous job as Director of Mentorship.
Role - To Investigate all new citizens to find genuine new players, offer
and allocate (if accepted) a mentor from the list on the forum and
maintain the list of mentors on the forum and ensure that the standard
messages are up to date.

Director of Education
Current - TBA
Who he is - TBA
Role - Write and publish articles educating the eSA citizens about game play mechanics or anything relating to eRepublik.

Director of Fun
Current - Joseph Rich
Who he is - Joseph Rich was the previous DMoSD and before that, the Director of Fun.
Role - Try and keep eSA’s citizens entertained and motivated by organizing competitions, games and fun things to do.


Where to Get Help

We all need help from one time to time and so we want to make it easier for you to access the help you need. Help is always just a few click away, but just to make the number of clicks less, here are some places you will find help:

The eRepublik Wiki has loads of information on most of the game concepts of
eRepublik. You will also find information on some citizens, history of
countries, and almost anything related to eRepublik. This should be your
first stop when looking for help or information.

eSA Forum

The eSA forums may also be of help, when looking for help on something more
local. The Department of Education section has some articles which
should help you on your way.

IRC

Citizens on IRC are always willing to help other citizens on their way, so dont be shy to ask for help on there.

MoSD Team
If all else fails, the MoSD team is always there to help you in times of
need. You can find us in the MoSD section on the forums.


Our New Department

I would like to now introduce you a new Department to join the Ministry, ‘The Department of Population Growth’. It does not have a Director of itself (yet), but is to be headed by myself, Minister of Social Development, with the assistance if SuperSlax, the Deputy Minister of Social Development. My aim is to generate a system and set the Department up, make sure it works and has the desired effect. Once I have created the model I am for it to be able to continue next term and the term after than operated either by the Minister himself or a Director.

We have a cunning plan to help us get back on our feet but we don’t want just anyone knowing about it. If you would like to help our New Department please contact me. If you are asked by me, I ask kindly ahead for you to lend me your help. If you are not asked, do not be offended!

Why to get on -
The forums is where most of eSouth Africa’s game play happens. On the forums
you can find all the ministries and political parties sub forums. Here
you can see views presented by other citizens, vote on pre-election
polls and have discussions on subjects concerning important happenings
in eRepublik. Essentially, the forums is the place where the country is
run.

Why to get on -
The eSA IRC Channel is not only a place to chat to fellow eSouth Africans,
but also to make friends in game. Here you can ask for help on anything
concerning eRepublik, have cabinet/congress meetings, or even have
discussions on real life subjects.
