Worldwide grain crisis

It has been noted by food manufacturers recently that grain seems to be awfully expensive. At first this seemed like a local problem, created by all the tax changes going on recently. That may have been the case at first, but now there is a larger trend taking over: grain prices everywhere are jumping, to the point where some countries like South Korea, Singapore, and Switzerland either do not have any grain for sale, or have grain for sale at ridiculous prices.

Data can be seen here
, for the price in gold for 1000 units of grain. The analysts who noticed this trend also report that grain company productivity has decreased. How this affects food prices is still being determined.

On to the rest of the news:

There have been no Congressional proposals in the last three days. Also, the two battles we have can be seen on the home page, and the NZDF Civil Orders are in the top 5. So those two sections are not being reported on tonight.

It was a slow news day again today. My last NZNN hasn't even made it off the front page of the latest articles.

Necros Xiaoban gets creative and writes a daily news summary like an actual TV News broadcast. This issue was mainly focusing on the new resources.

Wahoobob publishes a Ministry of Fun update and announces his intentions to run for President of New Zealand.....in January.

If you are a graphics god, try your hand at dSoKre's contest to re-brand his newspaper. It's worth 20 gold if you win!

The National Bank of Indonesia was permanently banned for multis today.

As always, feel free to suggest international articles worthy of mention!
