Worldwide grain crisis
It has been noted by food manufacturers recently that grain seems to be awfully expensive. At first this seemed like a local problem, created by all the tax changes going on recently. That may have been the case at first, but now there is a larger trend taking over: grain prices everywhere are jumping, to the point where some countries like South Korea, Singapore, and Switzerland either do not have any grain for sale, or have grain for sale at ridiculous prices.
Data can be seen here, for the price in gold for 1000 units of grain. The analysts who noticed this trend also report that grain company productivity has decreased. How this affects food prices is still being determined.
On to the rest of the news:
There have been no Congressional proposals in the last three days. Also, the two battles we have can be seen on the home page, and the NZDF Civil Orders are in the top 5. So those two sections are not being reported on tonight.
It was a slow news day again today. My last NZNN hasn't even made it off the front page of the latest articles.
Necros Xiaoban gets creative and writes a daily news summary like an actual TV News broadcast. This issue was mainly focusing on the new resources.
Wahoobob publishes a Ministry of Fun update and announces his intentions to run for President of New Zealand.....in January.
If you are a graphics god, try your hand at dSoKre's contest to re-brand his newspaper. It's worth 20 gold if you win!
The National Bank of Indonesia was permanently banned for multis today.
As always, feel free to suggest international articles worthy of mention!

Great article, voted.
mmmmm Pandas
boated!
Since when does an org get banned for multis?
Spud of Doom, it could have been the source for collecting gold gotten through illegal means.
The best paper in New Zealand.
Still waiting for your reason to select Bristel...
Nice to see that Adam still has nothing better to do than to comment negatively on articles from a country he is no longer a part off. Get a life buddy.
>The National Bank of Indonesia was permanently banned for multis today.
LOL'd for GREAT JUSTICE.
We spend our time playing a virtual game that has no consequence on the real world at all.
None of us have "lives".
Yeah, Adam, it actually shouldn't be surprising that I didn't mention Bristel in this article that has nothing to do with my CP run.
It's my campaign, it's my newspaper. I'll write what I want, when I want.
Now fuck off back to the US. You left this country, remember?
I actually have a wonderful life, Adam. Sorry to hear that yours is nonexistent.
I don't, I have a terrible life, and that's why I spend so much time on here and IRC...
Sounds like I'm a logical choice for VP.
Bristel is awesome, get over it. He can into Fionia's cabinet, you cannot. And please do remind me why you're still here Adam? If you're fed up with NZ like you say you are then leave... like the US will accept your cs request hehe
Voted and Subbed, Fionia
Still waiting on that explanation, Fionia.
LOL
That's your explanation? I should have guessed.
Nope.
Then what is it? You have yet to offer one. I'm starting to think you don't have a good reason, and you just went with him because you couldn't think of anyone better that wanted the job.
My dear idiot, see my earlier comment.
It's my campaign, I'll tell you what I want about it when I want to. You have yet to answer my question from a previous article as to why it's such a big fucking deal to you that Bristel's my VP.
You're going to keep such things a secret? Perhaps people shouldn't vote for someone that doesn't trust the people enough to even be the slightest bit transparent.
Such paranoia doesn't suit a leader.
Adam Reese, you barely even know me... so all your hubbub isn't going to change her mind, or other's minds.
Got some dirt on me? You should publish it so you can "discredit" me as soon as possible...
