NZ Nightly News 11/29

Day 1,105, 22:32 Published in New Zealand USA by Fionia

Admins make changes, and only some players are notified.

It's been well-discussed in recent days that it was possible to make a multi and have them get to level14, 15, even 19 in one day. This is entirely illegal, and NZ NIghtly News does not condone it, but it was possible.

Not anymore. A PM was sent out by the admins today, stating that they were aware of the rampant multiing, that 10,000 accounts had been banned, and that multi gold had been removed. They also said that they changed the "experience tunnel", a phrase which means only they know what actually changed.

The problem with this is that only some players got this PM. I personally found out about this info secondhand. This might or might not be related to the API being very slow today.

On to the rest of the news:

Darkmantle has been promoted to Chief of the NZ Defence Forces. Congratulations.

We have no battles right now.

It was a slow news day today. My last article hasn't even made it off the front page of the latest articles.

The Grand Temple of eSheepism, the first eReligion to be created in NZ, is giving away free stuff. Free anything, apparently. Food, tickets, weapons, and no restrictions. The KIP is also still running its free food program for levels 5 to 17.

Marsak Morda does an analysis of the grain and food markets in NZ. This one caught my eye in particular because it highlights my company.

Speedcat McNasty took a poll on what drew people to eRep and what made them stick around. Here are the results.

Julian Mizu could use some votes in the Serbian eBig Brother competition. This has been your shameless plug of the day.

As always, feel free to suggest international articles worthy of mention!
