NZ Nightly News - 11/21

Day 1,097, 19:55 Published in New Zealand USA by Fionia

Welcome to the New Zealand Nightly News, November 16th edition.

AHHHH. IT'S FINALLY BACK!! 😛 Sorry about disappearing for the past few days, folks. I apologize sincerely for having a RL.

Having taken several days off, this'll be a long article, and there is too much that has gone on to pick one feature story.

There has been a bug with proposals for the past few days. So these next four proposals have all finished, but not gone into effect.

A tax change on food going back to the original 1/1/15 scheme (reversing the tax changes that had been forced through) passed 14 to 12.

A 100 NZD donation to our national org (Reserve Bank of New Zealand) passed 21 to 3.

A MPP with France that President calbe was not aware of and had not approved was proposed by the President of France and passed 18 to 6.

The New Citizen Message proposal finally worked, and it looks AWESOME. It passed 20 to 0.

There are also two current proposals:

A tax change on grain to reverse the Serbian changes. It is failing 15 to 13.

A declaration of war with Australia by President calbe that is passing 23 to 5.

As I just mentioned, we will soon have our first official war. I must add, though, that it is only a training war.

Also, if you've looked at the front page lately, we have 6 battles on right now: 2 US vs UK, 2 Serbia vs Croatia, and 2 Serbia vs Romania. We are fighting on the Serbian and US sides with our MPPs.

Daniel Dodge ponders over whether the incredible jump in food prices for citizens is a reasonable trade-off for more government revenue.

Thomas765 interviews Darkmantle, the current Minister of Technology and leader of the New Zealand Special Forces.

Chetan Zapato just keeps going in Interview #6 with kyle321n and IvanMiletic, two members of the Military High Command.

Marcos Arolia analyzes the current state of our government in his first article in New Zealand.

Party Updates

I found four:
The KIP running a lottery, and a national food program (2 articles).

The PnPP has a party org now.

The KCP introduces itself and its purpose under its new leadership.

And the winner of my first article contest is the SS16 update article, including an interview with both the Party President and Vice Party President.

The training war has sparked some debate because of the lack of information given to the public.
