Hello depositors and anyone else reading this newspaper! After running our blog, we decided it would make more sense to have a newspaper that depositors could subscribe to. This way important bank information and updates will be in your subscription notifications when you login.

Bank Contracts

For over a week now, t'jelle Bank has been using our official depositor contract which protects all depositors assets. You can read through it, and if you would like to use it, just go into the contracts section of the eRepublik forums and post it up. Then email this org and notify us that you have opened a contract to be signed.

The undersigned is YOUR NAME HERE, hereby referred to as depositor, and t’jelle Bank, represented by AidenAstrup. By signing this contract, both parties agree to all terms included.

Deposits -

The depositor has the ability to deposit any amount of Gold into their savings account by “donating” to the organization t’jelle Bank. At no time will t’jelle Bank or any of its affiliates request that deposits be sent elsewhere. t’jelle Bank is not responsible for lost assets that are sent to other parties. Deposits are proffered to be in Gold, but can be sent in any form. t’jelle Bank is not responsible to any change in exchange prices between the time of donation and the time that the deposit is processed however.

Withdrawals -

To withdraw, the depositor must log into their account at erepublik.ws/bank and request a withdrawal. This withdrawal can take up to 24 hours to be processed. t’jelle Bank holds the right to delay a withdrawal if it would adversely affect other depositors. t’jelle Bank must send the requested withdrawal amount within 1 week however regardless of any situation. All withdrawals are in Gold, and cannot be turned into any foreign currency before being given to the depositor.

In order to have money wired to another organization or citizen, the depositor must send a message to the organization t’jelle Bank and state how much money should be withdrawn from their account and where it should be sent.

Interest -

Interest rates are subject to change, but t’jelle Bank must provide 1 months notice on it’s blog http://tjellebank.tumblr.com and it shouts.

Interest is collected on the agreed time interval after the first deposit. Interest is added straight into the depositor’s bank account and a message sent to the depositor is required to explain how much gold was in their account and how much was collected. Any other important information such as upcoming interest rate changes are to be included in this message.

Privacy -

t’jelle Bank does not reveal any account information such as deposit history, current holdings or past financial advice to anyone including governments and admin.

t’jelle Bank Rights -

t’jelle Bank has the right to close an account and send all current holdings to the depositor if the depositor attempts to illegitatemly gain assets of t’jelle Banks that does not belong to them or to cause harm to any of t’jelle Bank’s depositors. In the event of an account closing, all current holdings must be sent straight to the depositor within 24 hours.

t’jelle Bank can refuse any deposit that is deemed to be detrimental to t’jelle Bank. In this situation, the deposit must be sent back to the depositor.

If the depositor dies, all assets left with t’jelle Bank become the property of t’jelle Bank.

Depositor Rights -

The depositor can at any time request all funds be withdrawn from the account. Some account require a substantial notice for this withdrawal, see erepublik.ws/bank for more info. t’jelle Bank must send the withdrawal within 1 week however.

The depositor has the right to close their account and have all deposit history information be deleted.

If for any reason t’jelle Bank is not responding to emails, the depositor can request that admin remove their assets by posting on this contract that “t’jelle Bank has become inactive, I am requesting my assets be sent to me”. If t’jelle Bank does respond to the post withing 3 days, admin has the right to determine how much money was in the depositor’s account or to send an email to the email account tied to t’jelle Bank and request all depositor information in order to distribute funds back to depositors. This situation holds true for any permanent ban to t’jelle Bank.
