-Vote for frankypicoto for congress in Ontario on the 25th.

So, I’m here again running for congress on the 25th. This time I’m confident as I’ve got more votes assured. I was very happy to see that last term I nearly made it to congress with 17 votes. Experience was what kept me back. I want to thank everyone who voted for me last term and I hope those people still feel that I am qualified to be elected into a congress seat.

Not many changes have been made to my platform as it’s my best one so far. But, I hope you don’t feel it’s too short or anything like that.



Platform:
-Military
Our military has always been strong and it’s not hard to see that we do work allot in this section because as most of us experienced the TO by the French we have seen what we are capable of. We were put down but, we made our way up in no time and this is thanks to the experienced and experiencing devoted CAF members. In this last month I’ve felt an urge to help the CAF that’s why I’m buying extra guns to reach field marshal as fast as possible. I’ve also decided to let the leader of the 4th platoon know that I don’t want to receive any more guns for missions as I am well able to buy my own. I will bring nothing but help in this section, because the only thing the CAF is missing is funding.


I will also prevent any wrong decisions about allies so that what happened with eUK won’t ever happen again. As to the proposal to make peace with France I think it’s a good idea to let them be for now, we do not need any more interference from them as we have our own battles to fight. In Congress we choose our enemies and allies and I promise you that I will only vote for such a proposal when I’m sure I’m sure it’s the right decision.





-Foreign Affairs
As I said above I will be very careful to which allies we can or cannot trust. We need to have allies that will support us when we are attacked or vice-versa. We must maintain in contact with our allies and alliances as we are now members of EDEN. We should always seek good and sustainable relationships with as many countries as we can, considering we have a good and wise deal for our country. As to our enemies I believe we should seek peace with them but as I said before we have keep in mind the deal has to be trustful and wise for eCanada.

I’ve also noticed more ambassadors recently and it couldn’t have been better timing. I’m glad we’ve taken a step toward a better relationship with our allies. Of course the Brolliance couldn't go unnoticed here. I fully agree with the Brolliance and there could be no better alliance than the alliance between brotherly countries. 😛





-Economy
In Congress we congressmen/women have to work to build our economy to its best. Especially in times of war, when we must rebuild the economy so everyone is able to afford weapons.
The taxes should be high enough to pay the bills but, low enough for the people in eCanada to afford them. Therefore we must take care of our economy and keep it as it is. I’ll be honest with you here, I don’t know that much about economy but I do know the basics and I’m doing my best to understand our economy better.

And, don't forget; I will never vote on a tax proposal before I know completely what it's about and what people have to say about it.






-New citizens
We have worked hard to improve our conditions as to new people coming into eCanada. Meals on Wheels is a program formed not long ago which is being successful in the eUSA, it is a great incentive and I believe it will be very successful. That is only one of the many programs founded for new citizens. Our welcoming message is very thorough and has been edited to suit the recent happenings, we should make sure we keep it like that. Many players have also taken advantage of their newspapers to help new citizens by answering both basic and hard questions. I hope the higher level players vote these articles up for the sake of new players.


A player called ltdan676 is also trying to start a new mentorship programme targeting the whole of the eWorld’s new citizens. His idea is very practical and thought through, however he will get nowhere without the help of players who know what they are doing. and vote for his articles, that way he'll be encouraged to continue his programme.

I encourage you to vote and subscribe to his newspaper, that way he'll know that we think it's a good idea.
