MoI Report ~ Controversy on the Australian market

Day 413, 02:05 Published in Australia Australia by corny-ratbag

Now, I have been pushing for companies not to undercut each other and to sell above cost price to ensure a healthy and friendly economy. Myself among many thought that Australian companies would never exploit other Australian companies / citizens by selling at ridiculous prices rather try and help out by offering reduced prices.

However today I have been alerted to a very un-Australian company that has obliviously set out to purely make money. I would like to thank the citizen who brought the following PM to my attention.

From Vincent Industries;

"We are the only two producers of Q1 grain. You have lowered your price to 0.45 AUD. Mine is at 0.7 AUD. I suggest you bring the grain price back up to my level. They will have to buy it."

Basically this GM is asking to push the price of grain up 65% higher than they should be and suggests that it will still be purchased as food companies are powerless to the sudden price rise.

Personally I am severely disappointed in this act of greed and would like to thank companies for not purchasing his stock.

Now Australia I would like to hear your thoughts .... please vote is up for all to see. I am awaiting a response as there may be an misunderstanding somewhere.
