Ireland's New Political Structure

In all my years(months) in Ireland this country has always been dominated by one party whether it be Peace & Good Life (oldie), IF, or IR. Never before was a coalition ever needed to pass laws. Now however, things have changed and I believe for the better. Three candidates all had the same chances for getting the presidency and the largest percentage of any party in congress is IF with only 28 %. The importance of discourse and compromise will surely rise. No party by itself can push a law through congress. Each party now has to talk with the other parties and find an agreement. Finally Irish politics are starting to take on the shape of a real country. Only good can out of this. Ireland will surely benifit.

The party will decide who will lead us in the next General Election be it myself, patton or someone else.

@Michael: If you just mean register on the forums the I have. However if there is a roll call like I see there was for an older congress then I can\'t find it...

I for one am very glad their is no one party that has majority in the house. This can only better Ireland. I can see in the future eIreland becoming a very strong country.

@igor : even if IR was going to support u or quartermass, congress would have the same composition... so it\'s not IR to destabilize the country 🙂
