Three people now. Didn't this sort of joke go very very wrong in eUSA a few months ago, with the president really ousted? I agree with Robb on this one, stick to chicken jokes.
Yeah, you could sort of treat this as a test for Patti. Maybe it is in fact a ploy to register popularity within the congress! 😛
Since when did running the country become a joke... This politician should be ashamed of himself for bringing the eAustralian congress down to this level.
Maybe at the next election, we should vote for people who are serious about running the country, not for people having a joke.
I voted no, and I do agree this should not have happened. But, it did, and there is nothing for it now.
I note in any case, based on 30 senators ABLE to vote on this, and a couple who have resigned, the point is now academic anyway. Patti's rightful place as duly elected PM is retained.
The point isn't that it got voted down, the point is that it was started in the first place. Joke impeachments shouldn't happen in Congress. If this congressman wants to joke around, he should do it elsewhere and let the people who take it seriously in.
I agree Coppr. There's no good reason to undertake fake impeachment activities.
I think it may have also been a heat of the moment thing.
