Impassioned Plea

Hey eAmerica!

So here we are, Congressional election eve....i'm sure a lot of you are looking forward to tomorrow, some because they are running, some because they just want to see who wins and others if only to end all the damn ads and campaign articles 😛

It is a tough time to be a small party in eRepublik right now. Contrary to what most probably think I am not doing this to someone increase my own profile or push my agenda...before I left a few months back I was a consistent Congressman running communications for the AAP, working with the Salvation Army and considering a run at AAP PP...my point being that things were better for me personally then.

The reason I am running the Green Party now is because I want to see things change here in eRepublik. I want to see players step up, get more involved and stop having things dictated to them by those with the best looking lists or best skill with photoshop. I am sick of seeing players I respect, players that contribute day in and day out, blast deserving idiots and then turn around and act like dicks just so they can get re-elected. I want the hypocrisy to end.

I know, I know. It's just a game and I am certainly not perfect, just wanted to share my two cents.

As for tomorrow, I ask that you please consider voting for Kyle Galli in Illinois and dustinmp9 in Kansas...they are both great guys. Kyle is certainly deserving of a chance to prove his worth in Congress and dustin deserves to be voted back in after a few months off.

I do not know what the future of the Green Party holds....after a slight surge we actually lost 8 members after I MM'd the entire party....whether that was due to what I said or recruiting from bigger parties, I don't know. Either way it is going to be hard to sustain any kind of meaningful party structure and activity unless things change, and as I said before, it is hard to be a small party right now.
