Hello, Austrians!
Illuminus Austria
I've been receiving a lot of messages with people worried about this group. When I came on today and found them there, I was equally as surprised. If it wasn't for the fact that I had known Antonio Salgado to be a PEACE advocate and a friend of Metallon's, I'd have assumed it to be a TO. Either way, I've spoken with Antonio today. The claim is that they are here to bring companies, help the government (monetarily or otherwise,) aid the military, and help to fill Congress seats with legitimate candidates rather than the foreignors we struggle with each election. If this proves true, it will be a good thing for Austria. We shall see.

Nice to see a friendly article.
We'll help each other, for sure, that's our goal.
Thanks for your kind words L 😉
While I also hope they are here selflessly... could we really not field enough legitimate candidates on our own? Even if we couldn't, does a candidate who is a member of PEACE before they are Austrian really qualify as a "legitimate candidate" either?
It's also troubling that they would do this before even consulting the President of Austria... Seems almost like "borrowing without asking."
Finally a friendly article.
Was it friendly to do this without asking first?
Rangeley, are you austrian IRL?

What has this got to do with the President of eAustria?
It is just a bunch of people moving to a country. In my opinion it doesn't matter what their intentions are. They are free to live wherever they want, just as you are free to live where you want.

Well, I agree with you, and I don't want my views to be misunderstood. As sp0t is pointing out, people are in countries they don't live in IRL, and there's nothing wrong with that. I don't have a problem with people moving to Austria. What was suspicious was this was a coordinated effort from PEACE, consisting of a large group of people, who immediately form the 2nd largest party. The reason they should have contacted Lynari is they claim they are here only to help, not to take over. It just would have been the nice thing to do, I think. If you want to help out a neighbor, you don't just walk in their house and start doing the dishes.
Walking in is against the law (in some countries, that is), as it is tresspassing on private property. In that case, you should be paying a fine if your neighbor isn't quite happy with the fact.
However, eR laws do NOT state that we can't "walk in" a country, as a group or not, wanting or not to help.
Just be glad we are here to help. We could be here to screw Austria all over, thing we are not.
Now, about Lynari... Thanks for the kind words. Let's hope this is the start of a long lasting friendship.
Well as long as there here to help, welcome!
