I&W has some questions

In a couple of days we have the congresselections and the party that get's the most congressseats will be the one who will be asked to start forming a new government. Last month BP was the biggest party and together with LSD they formed the government. Pander Pols (GLD) was asked for the ministry of Finance and Dionysus (Union Party) was asked as minister for Foreign Affairs. This was the first time that no one of the I&W party was in the government.
Last month most of the government wasn't really active, probably due to vacations. Some people of the government were really active, some weren't.
News?
We think that the government made some mistakes last month. For example they never published the weekly news, althought slivever every week asked the ministers for articles to be published in the weekly news. We don't know if the ministers made articles for the weekly news, but the fact is that nothing was published. We think that the government made a mistake by not publishing the weekly news. We know that several times citizens asked for the weekly news and also our president said that informing the citizens was really important.
Most of the citizens don't come on the forum, so informing them ingame is really important.
So maybe Slivever can inform us why nothing has been posted?
Contracts
Also at the start of the government several ministers didn't have access to their ministeries. This because no contracts were made and after some complaints they were granted access to the orgs without contracts. So the finally could start their work. This was a couple of weeks ago, so maybe someone can inform us if the ministers did get a contract later or that everyone works without contract. I&W thinks that a contract is important, but when the contracts are not ready in time, ministers should be granted access to the orgs, so that they can do their job.
We also would like to know if the passwords to the orgs have been changed or that former ministers still have access.
Maybe ThomasRed can give an answer about the contracts and the passwords?

Questions, ofcourse.
I was also surprised by the lack of weekly news updates. I am subscribed so even being in a foreign land I liked being informed on the current status of the eNetherlands. Hopefully some changes will be made and as Deviltje said I do understand there were vacations taken.
I hope that i will get a reaction from the goverment on this article. Personnaly i think they won't react.

I have been rather active to be honest, but like you said; some of us were, some were not. Very unfortunate ofcourse, whether it's due to vacations or something else.
Second, I have only received one request for info from Slivever this government period (this week) as opposed to three or even four times the period before this one. This week I myself haven't written anything for a possible government report though, because I had several things going on IRL. Personally I don't think the usual monetary donations are that interesting to publish anyway, but there are ofcourse definately things that would need to be published ingame.
I can also tell you that there has only been one (!!) government IRC meeting this period, and the only people there were me, Cocoamok, Frerk and RessMe.
Regarding the contracts; you and I have discussed this before one time on IRC, and we both agreed that it's a disgrace that some ministers have to wait for a week or more to get access to their own orgs. I don't know if anyone is working without a contract right now, but it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Your comment makes clear to me that most of the government wasn't really active the last month. The people you mentioned were indeed the ones who were the most active.
Let's hope the next government will be more active.
Agree, there are too many inactive congress man.
Lets hope the baby boom brings more active players who can motivate the whole congress.
