After careful consideration, it seem inappropriate that I talk to Singapore president John Jay in the absense of Nagyzee. Therefore, I will not talk to him before Nagyzee returns. When Nagyzee returns, I will ask him for instructions to proceed on this matter.
I apologise for all this confusion and I encourage all discussion on this matter to stop until Nagyzee returns. It was never my intention to create such an uproar.

you DON'T have to apologize for anything.
its not inappropriate, its simply not effective, but discussing a merge, or even the possibilities of a merge needs huge (I mean huuugeeee) discussions. There are loads of details and stuff, so if you talk(!) with JJ (collecting informations, etc.) making it easier to Nagyzee to enter the conversation, and helping the congress to become better informed, its a good thing, even if the merge won't happen eventually.
public discussion in itself is not a bad thing either!
merging two countries is a delicate matter, it needs the consent of the whole population.. but public discussion can go wrong... as we can see 🙂🙂
