Hungary goes on the Offensive

In an unexpected move, Hungary retreated in Nordjylland, which was being attacked by Sweden. This was simply a blocking measure to prevent Hungary from going on the offensive, as the Huns could have won this battle with great ease. Now that Hungary is not under attack, they can launch their own offensive against Canada, which they did in Idaho. The Hungarian military is far more powerful than the Canadian forces, so the battle will most likely be a loss for Canada, especially since this battle does not activate any MPP's on the Canadian side and will thus make allied support minimal.
The question is whether Hungary will continue on into native Canadian territory, or even Attack eUS states. Since Indonesia was thrown out of North America and it looks like the eUS can win the 1 front war against Russia, PEACE seems to have gotten desperate. With the plan to bring Colombia through Mexico in order to initiate blocking attacks against the eUS along with Hungary retreating one of their regions in order to gain the initiative, PEACE seems to be running out of maneuvering space in this war.
After all, if this fails, the only real options for PEACE are to either use the UK to attack Canada and the US (even PEACE isn't that stupid), or they can try to re-invade North America, Spain, and Greece the same way they did before(only without Portugal to help this time), which cost them god knows how much gold to succeed with in the first place, only to all be lost. PEACE will soon figure out that a world war of this kind is impossible to win by conquering your enemy. Even if they were to take every single F/E region, we would still come back , and with the initiative and no MPPs against us, shove them back to their borders. And hey, after that, we may just go after some of their territorial claims(unlikely at this particular point in time, but who knows what the future holds?). PEACE is doomed to be defeated, so lets keep the pressure on them!

You missed something. Hungary made a tactical error by declaring the Resistance War BEFORE they attacked conventionally. The Canuks are happily fighting RED at the moment, and will give Idaho over to the eUSA a few seconds before Hungary can win conventionally, thus closing the battle and leaving Idaho in US control.
Also, you claim that PEACE is defeated, when they had clearly had the US defeated and down to one state. Although the US is clearly fighting back, you cannot claim that the US had a decisive victory in the war.
Well, the war is still young Garven Dreis, we've only been fighting all summer. Nothing to stop us from fighting all winter too.

Nice bit of understatement, this. How much gold has been spent in this ridiculous battle, which, after all, was fought for the "lulz" (how I have come to loath that term). Clearly a fair amount. How much more do the PEACE puppet states, and PEACE proper, wish to continue spending? We shall see, but my guess is that they've finally bitten off a bit more than may be comfortably digested.
Look, PEACE may or may not continue to prosecute this thing. And they may, in the short term, be successful. In the long run, though, if they choose this path, they will effectively be destroying themselves. Portugal has already had a belly full. Who next?
