That sounds like a broken record... FB repeats that each time.
Even your program is not so original... oh oups... you have not published one from months 🙂
FB is pretty cool. I like how they abandoned their mobile voters and how they're standing firm with their policy. o/
Voted.
hmmmm :
They have no programm and their candidates are SOO original that they nearly copy/past the same program. Very original when you are promoting that you support individual ideas.
Also : USA still has 112 persons with Belgian citizenship, meaning 112 TV (80 if we are really nice). They didn't abandon their TV, don't fool yourself. Only they don't advertise their voting orders in public but do it through PM.
This coming from the guy who wants to be dictator...
They don't need orders because they are already subscribed to SAC
Nice move to do some damage control 😛
>>"They have no programm and their candidates are SOO original that they nearly copy/past the same program. Very original when you are promoting that you support individual ideas"
We have a natural consensus on some broad issues (e.g. role of government) -- that's what makes us a party. But how can you possibly call us unoriginal and question our independence when the few values that we do share are neither enforced by the party leadership nor shared by the majority of congress? There is a very important difference between cooperation on issues of common ground and blindly following top-down party planning and decision-making.
No, but from my point of view, someone is still telling people who to vote for in your party. Tactical votes or something. The total amount of votes your party received is more than the total members in your party. I think that is what most of the people here resent: you using a foreign force for the elections. Of course, I'm butthurt from being sniped right now.
since when does someone have to be part of a party to vote? could it be that real Belgians support us? Enough with your xenophoebia hate speech!
What I thin you're trying to say is that your votes came from people without a party, while that is possible, it is very unlikely. The votes placed on your candidates were very organized (something which I applaud), and therefore, in my perspective, very unlikely to come from the small and inactive population of eBelgium. If you were trying to justify the use of tactical voters claiming xenophobia, having people vote in a country they do not represent is not in the interests of the country unless the government permits it. Ex: Using voters to fend off Indonesian PTOers in Australia. Bad Ex of tactical voters: Using voters from Serbia in Denmark to gain seats in Congress without the consent of the government.
>> Kylero : how can you explain then that FB ALWAYS has like the double amount of votes then members? And NO other party has this effect? I doubt that real belgians make all the difference.
@Apotygma - Oh, please, I haven't gotten any voting instructions in, like, 3 months! I actually have to *gasp!* decide for myself who to vote for. I tell you, it's pretty awkward being an eMerican and having to follow eBelgian politics. At times it feels like I really don't care about the politics of my own country. Oh, wait, I don't. One vote doesn't make a hill of difference in eUSA, but it can in eBelgium. In Belgium, I feel like a Belgiant.
Is it fun running a country of 30 people? Apotygma, you're doing a great job!
He is. This has been one of the most active governments in eBeglium's history! Also, voted to keep vote/comment ratio.
Exactly, active GOVERNMENT! What about the other people? Are the only ones in eBelgium government officials? You've done a fine job at keeping the active people active, but have failed to promote and grow the country. Debating about the military and whether or not to keep the ICC and Supreme Court is not in my opinion running the country. It seems as if you all use the FB as a scapegoat as to why you can't get anything done...but name an instance when the FB has been the deciding vote in something that has actually hurt the country? Name an instance in which they have clearly said "oh, I can't vote for this because the eUSA doesn't want me to". Speaking for myself, I took great pride in serving in the Congress and working for something better. Who is the enemy, someone who wants the country to do well, or someone who wants to be a dictator? Get real!
Kylero +1
Some people judge leadership by more than mere activity level 😉
Since BfB gained the majority in congress and the presidency our population has plummeted, the citizens that remain in eBelgium are practically hibernating out of boredom and lack of opportunities, and to top that off this government has actually come out in favor of centralizing decision-making and diplomacy EVEN FURTHER (thus making it even more boring around here by excluding the public from political debate). But thats all OK I guess because we have an active inner circle of ministers...
wow nice trollfest.
Maybe, just maybe after so many month of using the same joke, you might start to realise that "ordering" ppl to vote, makes way more resemblances with a PTO then we do. And btw: why must every time we have a election, BfB use the PTO card? I think we where past this, no?
how can diplomacy not be centralised? at least under BfB Belgium joined an alliance. As for the voters from the US, how many of them are not going to vote for the party they were drafted in to support? That is why FB get more votes than they have members, which does not happen in the US, UK, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain or Italy, because these countries are not affected by mobile voters, but does happen in Denmark, NK, BiH and Peru.
btw look here at what an important PTO battle looks like:
http://www.erepublik.com/en/elections/country-77-election-congress-date-2010-06-region-0/1">http://www.erepublik.com/en/elections/co[..]-0/1
Every party has less votes than members, and lots of candidates pretend to be Peruvian.
When can we stop with this TO crap? every election it is the same thing, it is really getting old. If we (as a country) put as much effort into growing as we do complaining about "the evil PTO'ers" we would be in the top ten.
Stilpo :
"we have an active inner circle of ministers..."
Your party refused to enter in the Gouvernment...
😑
The policy of your party is to flame the BfB, and obviously it don't work ! I invite the FB members to take their responsabilities. 🙂
>>Your party refused to enter in the Government...
I think you missed the point entirely (the Government shouldn't be the only source of activity in eBelgium)
>>The policy of your party is to flame the BfB.
This is a lie and you know it. We work with the BfB on mnany issues of common ground (e.g. joining and working with ENTENTE, establishing the ICC, expanding the military, etc). Just because we disagree with your and Apotygma's more authoritarian policy proposals doesn't justify an accusation of flaming -- especailly when we provide sound reasons for why we disagree with you every single time. Like Kylero said, stop trying to use us as a scape goat and start focusing on the issues.

Hey, just thought I'd throw something out there.
Yes, there are US tactical voters (what a shock) and I remember a spreadsheet of their orders a little while ago.
It's NOTHING like people think. Barely half the candidates in the orders were FB, and there were even a few BfB members on there (not any of the majorly anti-American ones) but all partys were covered.
Also, the people on priority wern't what you'd expect either. For instance, Rod Damon (Director of the CIA) was about half way down the list.
also, just remembered something:
>That sounds like a broken record... FB repeats that each time
not really. I started it with my last-minuite "vote for who YOU want" campaign last month. I then presented it to the party and we decided to take that sort of thing on as on of the major ideas of our party. Hence we've been repeating it since.
And anyway, how many times have the BfB used the RL Belgian line? You can really talk can't you.
