Cool! How did you compile the demand percentages?
The eFinancial Review compiles the Power Rankings report based on a daily snapshot of the rankings data.
The industry demand is simply the sum of all sales in an industry divided by total sales.
Are your Top Industries ranked by Units sold or CAD value?
I'm dismayed by the 0% rate for House sales... as an Apprentice in Construction, no demand for my product means lower wages...
And where did you find the data?
Thanks -

Industries are ranked by CAD value.
The data is based on 5 days worth of data. It could be that it was just a bad period to look at housing.
I'll do another update next week and that should give a better indication of how the housing industry compares to the others.
Ambrose, are you based in Australia and doing eCanada interest articles? Or do you do this for every country? I'm not pointing any fingers, just trying to get my stats right.
If the admins gave me API access, I could do this for EVERY country.
But at the moment some of the work is manual, so i'm just sticking to the countries with the most interesting economies (USA, UK, Indonesia, Romania, Australia, Canada).
