Current Situation of South Korea

All right, at the current moment, South Korea is vulnerable. We're weak militarily and money-wise.
So, let's assess the situation:
We have two neighbors: Japan and Pakistan. Both are powerful and could wipe us out if they wanted to. We can't tick either off.
So, we've got to keep them content. In order to do so, we need to join PEACE. If we join PEACE, they won't invade us.
As for the rest of the countries: they don't matter. As long as we start strong parties, we should be safe. And if we get into PEACE, we should be even more safe.
As for the economy, it'll be relatively stable after we start distributing the KRW. However, right now, we need to secure good relations with Pakistan and Japan.

Surely Neutrality is the best solution? NAP with Pakistan, Japan and possibly China. We can't really afford to sign MPP's right now.

Staying neutral would be the worse idea at this point. If we stay neutral, ATLANTIS takes us over, and we become a puppet state. We join PEACE, we keep our independence.

So we either become a PEACE puppet or an ATLANTIS puppet? How does being neutral guarantee a ATLANTIS takeover? Surely joining PEACE wouldn't really deter that...
I'd vote for going with PEACE
We could see about working with Indonesia, too. Also any newly independent nations.
We don't become a PEACE puppet. If we ally with PEACE, they'll leave us alone. If we stay neutral, ATLANTIS will exploit this region because it's between two PEACE powers in an attempt to weaken PEACE.
Joining PEACE would deter that, indeed. When we have MPPs with them, we show that we have a solid country. When we build our state on the basis of PEACE, we have a society that will support PEACE. And, ATLANTIS won't be able to take over that.
Tell me how would ATLANTIS take us over anyhow? Other than pure numbers which they can rig any election in their favour. As seen in Ireland were a group of Romanians took over.
Now I am for strong relations with PEACE. I'm just not sure we are in a position to join a Military alliance just yet. I'd prefer to see an Asian Union formed to help with the economic growth of the countries in Asia that are currently suffering.

Debate is paramount to democracy. If you don't have it then you aren't thinking enough.
in 6 men country, it seems as your "debate" will only lead to failure. In bigger country, i agree. In 6 men country, i don't think so.
Yes, pure numbers. If we don't have a stable government, they will take over. No one cares if you take over a neutral country. If you overthrow someone in their alliance, though, we get taken over.

If we wanted to take over SK instead of just liberatnig them, we'd have send some of our high officials to form a party and bicker about PEACE who were the ones opressing SK in the first place...

PEACE arn't the most stable of Alliances. I'm not saying I'm not Pro-PEACE for the future but for now we need to stay out of the International MILITARY conflict. We need an Economic summit between Asian Nations rather than joining a Military Alliance.
That's irrelevant to the point. It's not about bipartisanship. It's about foreign alliegances.
We're South Korea, not Ireland. Ireland has about 1000+ people or something like that, we have less than 50. Ireland can stay neutral because they can defend their neutrality.
No, getting taken over isn't a good thing.

Canada, USA and the UK are all much bigger than Ireland. I don't think that they can really use Military might to protect themselves.

PEACE members have to help eachother in defending each others borders. We don't have the Military to help them. I see little point in having to send our men to fight in say Austria. We need an economic union not a Military one.
