Beste lezers,

Wij, het ministerie van Onderwijs & Cultuur, gaan vanaf vandaag wekelijks de cultuurkrant weer uitbrengen. We hebben de cultuurkrant wel op bepaalde stukken verbeterd zoals; een item over Nederland, verjaardagskalender en een ideeënbus die nieuw in het blad zijn gekomen. Wij wensen je veel leesplezier en hopen dat je lid wilt worden van deze cultuurkrant die wij speciaal voor jullie, de burger, in elkaar zetten.

De indeling van deze editie zal als volgt zijn:
- Item over Nederland
- Verjaardagskalender
- Ideeënbus
- Nieuwe prijsvraag


ITEM OVER NEDERLAN😨
Van 17 tot 25 september 1944 vochten in en rondom Arnhem de geallieerden (vooral Engelsen en Poolse soldaten) om de stad te bevrijden van de Duitse bezetter. Deze operatie is de geschiedenis boeken ingegaan als “Operatie Market Garden”. Tijdens deze 9 dagen durende missie vielen aan zowel de geallieerde kant als aan Duitse zijde vele slachtoffers. Aan geallieerde zijde waren dit in totaal ongeveer 1603 slachtoffers (ongeveer 1500 engelsen en 103 poolse soldaten) en aan Duitse zijde ongeveer 1500 soldaten. De missie mislukte uiteindelijk en de geallieerde troepen trokken zich massaal terug. De oorlog zal nog tot 4 mei 1945 duren voordat de Nederlandse bevolking weer haar vrijheid zou terugkrijgen.

VERJAARDAGSKALENDER:
Elke week willen wij graag de eNederlandse burgers die jarig zijn geweest in het zonnetje zetten. Omdat wij vandaag pas de cultuurkrant uitbrengen hebben wij niet van iedereen die afgelopen week jarig was de datum kunnen terug vinden. Wij wensen alsnog deze mensen vele gezonde jaren toe.

Gefeliciteerd Shrubbery en Djirtsdew met jullie verjaardag. Wij hopen dat jullie een gezellige dag hebben gehad met familie en vrienden, en wensen jullie van deze kant nog vele gezonde jaren toe.


IDEEËNBUS:
Zoals jullie gemerkt hebben is de opzet van de cultuurkrant anders. Wij willen graag aan de wensen voldoen van onze burgers en hun ideeën voor deze krant uitwerken als er genoeg animo voor is. De cultuurkrant is van de burger en word door de burger samengesteld. Hiervoor hebben wij wel jullie hulp nodig zodat deze krant ook echt gericht is naar de burger toe. PRIJSVRAAG:
Op hoeveel experience punten zal Kimberly McCullouch volgende week, 2 oktober staan om 12:00 uur Nederlandse tijd. Je kunt je voorspelling insturen tot 1 oktober 12:00 uur Nederlandse tijd naar Briepe (Minister van Onderwijs & Cultuur). Wie het dichtste bij zit wint. De eerste 3 mensen zullen beloond worden met een leuke prijs. Indien meerdere personen hetzelfde antwoord hadden word de prijs gedeeld.

1st plaats: 100 NLG
2nd plaats: 50 NLG
3rd plaats: 25 NLG

ITEM ABOUT THE NETHERLANDS:
From 17 to 25 September 1944 fought in and around Arnhem, the Allies (mostly British and Polish soldiers) to liberate the city from the Germans. This operation has entered the history books as "Operation Market Garden". During this 9-day mission fell on both the Allied side and German side, many victims. On the Allied side were a total of approximately 1603 casualties (about 1,500 British and 103 Polish soldiers) and the German side about 1500 soldiers. The mission failed and the Allied forces finally withdraw. The war will continue until May 4, 1945 before the Dutch population would have her freedom back.
