Congressional Elections
Sean MacDiarmata
Hello Ireland,
Its that time of the month again and the elections are coming so you will see a lot of article's from people wishing to get your vote. I wanted to ask the voters to vote for people who actually contribute to Ireland, most say they will do this and that...then come the end of the month...they haven't even posted on the National Forums meaning they haven't done a single thing for you or Ireland. The CC of the Dail Paschoall has created a new spreadsheet to show the public of Ireland who is actually doing their jobs and who are basically in it for the gold.
Id ask all voters to view the below spreadsheet and vote for TD's who do their jobs and go on the forums to propose new idea's or even just to add their taught's on things being discussed. Ireland should be looking to get the best and most active members of are community into Dail Eireann as they tend to offer the most to Ireland. Remember you don't need to always vote for your own party...if someone offers Ireland a lot then the party shouldn't be a problem.
TD Details
Thanks for reading Ireland...lets see a great elections this term
Regards,
Marcus Suridius

good Article Marcus
i agree if u want to run for a TD, u have to serve your country, not just run for the gold, i have served 7 TD terms, and i have always ended the term, i have yet to resign a TD seat,
Agreed also!
Thanks Marcus! (:
Thanks Marcus and thanks to Paschoall for creating the spreadsheet.
Thanks for informing us about previous term TDs.

I had a good reason to leave, but Im not running anyway this time 🙂
My post count isnt correct however...
Glenn this isnt meant to be directed at yourself as you gave a reason which was accepted. This is to show people who haven't been active at tall. Like there is a few who haven't even registered on the forums which is a joke.
Thanks for the post Marcus. You are absolutely correct. People should vote for candidates who have shown their ability and willingness to help Ireland. If you have run before your record can be checked. If not then having contributed to discussion on the forum and especially the Dail even though not a TD is showing you care about what happens.
yes,i agree with this, gj pasch 🙂
i resigned last term but i had a valid reason ... won't run this term anyways
That is showing false facts about me as a TD. Can I please be corrected. I have posted more than 3 times !!
Nice, hopefully i can make it into congress this month.
So basicly, what that details is that, the more you talk about random issues, that may or may not even be in the furthest distance related to erepublik, or even at all relevant for that matter, you are considered a good TD as it only counts 'posts'.
Hmm... 🙂
@Nithraldur
For me, having more count doesn't make one better TD but absolute zero is still a good indicator.
@Luminara
you have a pooint, but, its up to citizens to evaluate this and not to other TD's...
its politican and not numeral
and insulting in a way

"good Article Marcus

Not resigning isn't proof that you are worth voting for. XD
I hve nothing to hide. I've been seeing a few people have'nt been in Dail, Bt it has been less active since the start of the month!
Activity in the dail is not an acceptable excuse tbh. If its not active start a thread about something you'd like to see implemented. Any TD can start a thread about anything they'd like to discuss.
To be honest I didn't understand most of what you said and what I did understand I didn't see any point behind. You can't say that a certain proposal is 'silly', especially when you don't now the details.
Posting on the National Forums has nothing to do with you having done anything for the country or not.
Well what can you do when you don't visit the place where decisions are made Dion?
May the Bad TD's eChoke and eDie 🙂
Its just simple, people who arent even registered on the forums, have done nothing for Ireland (maybe they have fought in wars, but that isnt politics)
It doesnt matter if you have 1000 posts or 20, as long as you're active and not having a post count of 0 or something very low
"Letters in red mean it was a silly proposal" needs a bit elaborating on....
The letters aren't even in red!!!!!!!!
Word.
