Canada so close, yet so far.

Day 668, 16:24 Published in USA USA by RomanEmpire

The Iranian Maneuver is seeming like more and more of a mistake by the day. After forfeiting their initial 24 hour advantage of being the ones to declare war by not starting a battle, the Iranians were immediately shoved into the defensive. Initially many figured that Iran would be just like Hungary, being constantly pinned under blocking attacks, yet no regions changing hands, seeing as Canada has a lower population than Iran.

Yet to most people's surprise, Canada pulled out a last-minute win in the Yukon. With the help of eUS marines and other allied forces in the last few seconds of the battle, Canada was able to push back the PEACE forces and move on the the only remaining Iranian-held Canadian region: Northwest Territories.

Unfortunately, this is where Iran's larger population, aided by PEACE tanks seems to be causing a lot of trouble. About 1 1/2 hours into the battle, the Canadian forces had managed to push the wall down to the low city level. Since then, numerous PEACE tanks have showed up, and quickly put the wall up to currently 50k above No Man's Land. With 3 or 4 enemy tanks still throwing up damage, the battle is far from won. If Canada is lucky, this will be the brunt of the enemy damage, and will slowly be able to chip the wall down tomorrow while Iran is asleep. Unfortunately at this point, things are not looking up.

Meanwhile, we are still waiting for Russia to make good on its promise to attack Florida. Most people have been saving up money to buy weapons for what will be a truly epic battle. So many of us thought that this war was over just a short few weeks ago, when we had Russia down to the wire and everybody else pushed back and pinned down. It seems as if this conflict will never end. But we must stay strong, and keep up the good fight. We can never be truly defeated, now lets go kick PEACE out of here!

Go USA!!!
Go FORTIS/EDEN!!!
Death to PEACE!!!
