A Government That Doesn't Support Indian Businesses?

Day 462, 10:23 Published in India Ireland by 1nterestingch4racter

This is to all business owners in India, and the regular citizens in which it may affect. As you may have been aware, we at the SWP were pushing for a state run health service, which would offer health to workers and to keep their wellness up. I recently was informed that there was a scheme in the making and I immediately look about to help this scheme be put into action. The thread can be found here: http://eindia.forumotion.com/ministry-of-internal-affairs-f11/india-wellness-plan-action-t413-30.htm#6025

Now, as a gifts company owner who employs ten active people, I was anxious to know when this scheme would go ahead, gifts sales have plummeted and I am not making any money. I could continue for a while yet, but I would eventually have to close down. Now I employ 10 workers, and giftEZ Q1 employs 9. That is 19 active workers that will soon be out of a job. I thought, this will be a great way of getting our products out.

It is not to be, in his eternal wisdom, the MoIA (Minister Of Internal Affairs) has sought to buy the cheapest products in the world for this scheme. The cheapest gifts in the world are not made in India. I can understand the logic, but simply, if no gifts are bought from the Indian market, then these companies will surely die. Legion were looking to set up another company in India, right now I'm not so sure.

And the implications of this are far beyond the gifts industry, and it's workers that might be out of a job. We are on the brink of war, weapon companies, be aware, the government will buy from abroad because they are cheaper. I know that IND Holdings is setting up a Q5 housing company. You probably won't even get one sale, because it will be cheaper to import them. This shows us that this government is not prepared to buy from and support Indian businesses. That the government would rather import when there is a perfectly good market available back at home. That they care about money, and not the livelihood of their workers and of the businesses that inhabit this country.

It is time for a change in the way things are run. If the SWP are elected, we will strive to provide the utmost support for Indian businesses and their workforce. We want to make sure that the Indian economy is stable and that hard working people don't lose their hard gained money, and would rather spend a bit more in the short run, to make sure that the Indian economy collapse in the long run.

A Vote For The SWP Is A Vote For The Future
