Hello Netherlands
Well now that I'm a eDutch Citizen, I figured I should write an article, though I don't always know what to write about. Anyway hello everyone, hope to make some new friends, and help the Country the best I can.
The Politics of it all
I have yet to pick a party, and really no idea which one to go to, I've gotten two offers, but it really hasn't helped the selection process at all. Mostly because I'm not sure what I wanted, I've done Top 5 parties, I've built up a party, I've played at the bottom of a country, and had a lot of fun still playing with the Revs.
I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually, but in the mean time, if anyone wants to make a pitch for their party go for it.
Closing it Out
Hopefully my next article will have more substance, anyway see you next time.
Signed,
Cody Caine

Voted. 🙂 Hoping to be able to join you and other eDutch citizens ASAP. o7
So you are in holland now.
You are quite the nomad these days Cody.
Enjoy.
I think the main thing about BG is it is a simple casual party. I'd go there if you don't have a strong preference to any of the other parties or their stances. Pretty moderate all around, but they strive for a stronger Netherlands, whether that be through fighting or negotiation.
GPN and VVN are pretty much they same in that they believe in a large government behind closed doors. The main difference being GPN wants as much power and glory for Netherlands as possible through fighting.
DemNL, I&W, and Libertas are pretty much all transparency and democracy. They want to put all the power into the hands of congress and have generally peaceful relations with everyone.
I don't know much about the Dutch Peoples Party other then they want power. I know Marnix wants to create more social programs to help new players.
I'd like to think that is a pretty basic summary of the parties to help you make a decision. Hope this helps.
DPP are our "communists".
If you've registered on the forum, I recommend you to read the congress section to find out which parties you like most.
The voting section can provide a short summary of the way the top-5 parties feel about certain issues. And you can read the corresponding debates to get more background into the reasoning behind it.
In principle information about BG can also be found if you look at debates and votes before the last congress elections.
DPP is the only party that remains sort of hidden in our congress section, because they haven't been in congress for some time.
But comrade Kordak's recent article http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/kordakism-the-true-history-of-enl-2335605/1/20 sheds some light on their ideals, although it's mainly a lot of fun... If you read that article, don't forget the last sentence. 😉
Voted, needs more Molly 🙁
Voted, good luck friend! And of course you are welcome to join The Dutch People's Party for serious politics... and a lot of fun 😉
Ik zou niet bij de communisten gaan ...
I think you should not join the communists ...
Communists?? We are Kordakists! And that is more close to Socialism. We are fighting for the rights of the small and new people, the reason we doubled our members in a simple week. Better than some fossil political parties 😛
V+S. Good luck finding a party that suits you Cody. We have quite a lot of parties here for a relatively small country. There are differences, but there's also alot similar. Aries Prime gave a good overview 😁
Welcome. o7
Welcome in the eNetherlands, indeed. 😁
Welcome. 🙂
And good choice of music, by the way.
Welcome to the eNetherlands! You came in the right time, we're about to get bigger. 😉
Welcome and enjoy your stay 🙂
I like the title you choose for the article 😉
honestly, if you call yourself a rebel, theres only one party for you.
lol GL Cody!
