Attempted Romanian-Russian Take Over
Epic Thoughts
I don't have a lot of fact at this point, but, I hope my readers will forgive that. What I do have is a question for Americans every where. Currently, many of us are abroad, fighting battles against PEACE, or possibly against ATLANTIS. Many of us have our own reasons for fighting, some of them as simple desiring a raise in level and rank. Some of them are as lofty was wanting to change the world.
I, unfortunately, fall much more into the former category as opposed to the latter.
But, while I spend my days fighting against which ever country the mercenary company I work for tells me to, I often find myself looking forward. I find myself looking forward, and wondering just what's going to happen in the future.
One cannot argue that what Romania, and the forces allied with that nation, have done in the past few weeks is amazing. I don't know how the battles will go tomorrow, but I can say, with all honesty, that what ATLANTIS has accomplished is startling in its sheer scope.
But there is a dark side to these astounding victories. With the last congressional elections, Russia was able to defeat a Romanian lead take over.
I've heard it so often from this pack of dogs we call PEACE that I'm sick of it. Every time they're confronted with the crimes and wrongs they've committed against nations like South Africa, India, and Australia, they always through it back that Romania and ATLANTIS does the same thing. And, here we have a clear cut example of exactly what they're telling us.
Don't you just hate it when the people you're fighting against are right?
At what point do we start demanding better of our allies? At what point will we, as Americans, demand that Romania, and other nations in ATLANTIS, stop with the take overs. I understand that take overs are effective. Hell, if they didn't work, they wouldn't happen. The admins are sitting on their hands and remain stoically silent in the face of constant outcry from parties on both sides of the current conflict.
So, if we can't rely on the administration to assist in this manner, and if we truly wish to demonstrate that we're the better alliance, what are we to do? I have an answer for that question, America.
We lead by example. We demand better of our allies, and we offer our official support to any nation facing this sort of threat. We demand that Romania, for all its military might, and all the amazing victories that country has racked up, stops with the attempts to control its enemies through such underhanded methods.
What do we want, America? Do we want an endless series of conflicts? Or do we want a world where every nation has a chance?
Do we want to be as base and as petty as the people we fight? Do we want to be the ones who are right?

The Russians repeatedly have attacked Romania to stall the allied advance on Karnataka. When Russia (or Ukraine or China) attacks Romania, then Romania loses the initiative to attack another Indonesian region in the march toward Karnataka. To the Romanians, the easy answer to this was to PTO Russia and impeach their President. Russia only had one candidate for President in the last election so impeaching the sitting President would leave Russia without a President, meaning there would be no one to declare battles and Romania would remove one of the thorns preventing the achievement of their goal.
I have said in previous articles that it is too simplictic to lump all PTO's into one category. The PTO attempted by the Romanians, imo, was a valid military tactic. It was intended with a clear military objective against an openly hostile foe.
Compare the attempted Romanian PTO to the successful Hungarian PTO's in the Baltics where Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania were threatened to join PEACE or else be PTO'd and where the objective is to pillage weak, vulnerable, non-aggressive and non-hostile nations for the sole purpose of enriching Hungary and Indonesia's national treasuries.
It is easy to lump them all together. And I've often wondered if a take over with the intention of keeping peace is any more superior than one with the intention of pirating national resources or political domination.
And it boils down to making excuses. A take over of Russia may have been a simpler than military domination, but, it's no better. In fact, it's worse. The ends will never justify the means. Forcing Indonesia into submission, and preventing PEACE from domination will ultimately be for naught if we use the same tactics, no matter what motivation we have, that they do.
There is validity in making war. There is validity in being a soldier. There is no validity in being a bully.
My question is if Peace ceases to exist will Romania turn on us. I can pretty much say that that will most probably be the case. And they will have the high iron regions and the US will not. I am continually told about how great an ally Romania is by our governement and our military but I have yet to see anything this ally has done for us that is not to their direct benefit. This great ally also demanded we pay a fine that other countries were not required to pay for the same transgressions.
Wake up America or you will one day all be Romanians as well.
I don't see any evidence of Romania turning on America, or any other member of ATLANTIS. Romanian officials have eagerly worked with diplomats and soldiers from other countries. I think our allies are our allies for good reasons. And it is because they are our allies that we must hold them to a higher standard.
Personally, I believe they are our allies because it legitimizes their imperialism if we do not condemn it. Obviously, they will not turn on us now because we outnumber them and that would turn more people against them, but once they have conqured everyone else and we remain in our 50 states while they will at that time be controlling about 500 or more regions because all the conquered contries' players will have left the game we will be their target.
Danylo, trust me, the day when Romania controls half the New World and all the conquered countries' players will have left the game will NEVER come 🙂
The war in Asia is Atlantis vs Peace, not Romania vs the world. Romania is constantly involved in several battles at the same time, but will still help allies when possible. It is not the megalomaniac fascist state Peace propaganda makes it out to be.
On Topic: PTO's are part of the game mechanics (a), and as long as they remain so, they will be used by both alliances.
Also, consider that TO's can be used for good as well (b). The reason why countries can be taken over in the first place is because there is a huge difference in population of the target and aggressor nations. Larger nations can help 'good' citizens of smaller countries get elected and thwart the plans of puppeteers.
Because of (a) and (b), imo, principled opposition to *all* TO's is counterproductive and not morally superior.
It's a part of the mechanism that needs to be changed. Out cry against is comes from both sides of the current conflict. The admins allow it to continue so that they can continue to have people purchase gold in order to fund resistance wars.
I'm not saying that the administration shouldn't be allowed to profit from their game. I am saying that the administration should do something to appease the large portion of players who find this 'tactic' sickening.
And until they do, principled opposition is the only response to ALL take overs.
Firstly; I have great respect for Mister Harlot. On more than one occasion he's made me eat dirt, and at those times, I believe I fully deserved it.
Secondly; Your attitude is condescending and, quite frankly, rude. All my responses to the various comments of this article have been polite and concise.
Thirdly; I'm not convinced you completely read my article. Or, if you did, you didn't understand it. My statements in the article are very negative towards take overs, and in particular, this most recent Romanian attempt. Your response makes you look like the countless other PEACE trolls out there.
Lastly; Now a little bit of deserved rudeness on my part. Death to PEACE. In their homes, and around the world.
