5Q1Iron = 1Q5Iron // 4Q1Iron=1Q4Iron // 3Q1Iron=1Q3Iron // 2Q1Iron=1Q2Iron
Myrfalas
It seems that people love expensive products.
What do i mean?
I mean that when you buy 1Q2 Iron for 0.82GRD IS THE SAME THING to buying 2Q1 Iron.
But wait, Q1Iron costs 0.5GRD which means that 2Q1Iron = 1GRD > 0.82GRD =1Q2 Iron
Simple math...

p.s.2 Same rule applies to all raw materials!

chris maier - wrong, 1 unit q3 = 3 units q1
if you don't believe me, mark the iron you have in weapon company, buy 1q1 and 1q2. If your iron doesn't increase by 3 i'll go become a priest and quit university.
lol myrfalas is right...
There's usually no point in buying Q1 raw materials. They are sold sometimes because people are uneducated, because they are attractively at the top of the list, or they are occasionally discounted. But Q1 RM companies are horribly inefficient.
It is shocking that nowadays still so many people don't know this.
I mention the efficiencies by way of passing in my "big article" ...
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/business-opportunities-in-27-countries-928447/1/20" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/busi[..]1/20
If the Q1 RM company has a "Basic Efficiency" of 100%, then:
- Q2 (40 gold start) has 180%
- Q3 (90 gold start) has 240%
- Q4 (190 gold start) has 280%
- Q5 (390 gold start) has 300%
Alternatively, if you adjust everything to scale from 0% to 100%, as one would normally see:
- Q1 is just 33%
- Q2 is only 60%
- Q3 is a healthy 80%
- Q4 is an excellent 93%
- Q5 is a pricey 100%
I think that puts it in perspective and should make people question even Q2 companies and offers, always checking also Q3 and Q4.
I didn't know that, thx myrfalas!
Good initiative, let's hope people start buying cheaper now 🙂

this is good info in the comment section. Bad article though.........
AH, but Q5 RM don't always work out cheaper per unit than Q3s.
q3 are usually the cheapest.
Sometimes Q1 is the cheapest. Often Q2 or Q4 is the cheapest. Just depends on who is selling.
My last purchase was Q3.
I am not running for Pulitzer just so you know, i'm just too frastrated with ppl that buy q1 rm without knowing that it's actually expensive. I am obviously stating the obvious!
@Ali Mentary: i just use the comparison of prices as an example from greek marketplace.
Good point, but badly illustrated and a bit confusing..

All businessmen should have figured this out long ago.., Thanks mate 🙂voted
Feel free to move or quote any info into the body of the article. It's all just good to know in general. 🙂
boated, these titbits of knowledge should always be circulated to keep noobs like me educated

So if the raw materials had the cost relevance you're suggesting, then the final product
should as well. Meaning that if Q1 weapon costs now about 6GRD, the Q5 one should be about 30GRD. The cheapest Q5 one on the Greek Market is 56.57GRD as we speak.
Hm... That would be nice indeed !
@Andreas Bo: you defenately got something wrong somewhere between the lines.
Enlighten me 🙂
Raw Materials (RM) : Q2=2xQ1 Q4=4xQ1 Q5=5xQ1
profit+expenses+etc) lets call it P
then simple math :
Final product value (FP) : FP_Q1=RW_Q1 + P
Final product value (FP) : FP_Q5=RW_Q5 + P = FP_Q1 (if P is the same in both cases).
why do you mistake quantity with price ? That's the whole point of my article btw. try this:
Ri=Cost of Raw , i=Quality used
Let's assume wages are constant. Therefore
Cost of weapon q2 = W+Ri
If you by from greece at this very moment:
1) Cost of weapon q2 = W+10*R1=W+5GRD
2) Cost of weapon q2 = W+5*R2=4.1GRD
3) Cost of weapon q3 = W+(10/3)*R3=W+4.03333333
etc.
It's true though, when my rm company was q1 I sold at higher prices and people did buy. Now that my rm company is q2, I have to sell at lower prices but people buy even less!! Maybe I should have stayed q1 😛😛
Only cuz of their ignorance Iphi 🙂
Gia na min pume gia ta gava...

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thats WHO myrfalas is 😃 😃 😃 math pro xaxaxa
Isn't this common knowledge? I always buy Q3-4 grain for my companies. It's way cheaper.
Dude!
Shut. Up.
You're going to screw with the price of the raw materials I was buying! Let the n00bs figure it out for themselves!

P.S. The link to eRepublikPLUS is here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/erepublik-plus-grand-tutorial-807662/1/20" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/erep[..]/1/20
BUY q3 IRON ! xD
congrats on the article .. educate the noobs 🙂 they are our future
Looks like a lot of the features of eRep plus are redundant with the recent changes to eRepublik (the company employee screen, mainly).
Spreading correct information creates a market that more accurately tracks reality. It will mean that higher quality RM companies, which are more efficient, will be able to sell more RM's and, thus, that more companies can profitably upgrade. This enriches everyone.
Actually I am going to prove just the opposite. Low Q weapons are cheap, high Q weapons are expensive.
Weapons are used for damage and only. So if we go to the game wiki for the damage formula, we have:
( http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Damage_formula" target="_blank">http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Dama[..]rmula )
D = Q × R × S × W × 2
😨 the damage
We do not care right now for R, S and W.
Q: the quality of the soldier's weapon factor:
If the soldier has a weapon, then Q = 1 + (Quality ÷ 5)
If the soldier has no weapon, then Q = 1⁄2
Here are the values for the Q factor:
No weapon = 0.5 = 25% (percentage of the possible Q factor value)
Weapon Q1 = 1.2 = 60%
Weapon Q2 = 1.4 = 70%
Weapon Q3 = 1.6 = 80%
Weapon Q4 = 1.8 = 90%
Weapon Q5 = 2.0 = 100% (maximum percentage of the Q value)
Here is the added damage value to the Q factor, due to using a weapon:
No weapon = 0 = 0% (no damage added)
Weapon Q1 = +0.7 = 70% (percentage of added fight damage)
Weapon Q2 = +0.9 = 90%
Weapon Q3 = +1.1 = 110%
Weapon Q4 = +1.3 = 130%
Weapon Q5 = +1.5 = 150%
The above means that if a Q1 weapon costs 7GRD, a Q2 should cost 9, a Q3 11, a Q4 13 and a Q5 only 15GRD.
So, it looks that we are spending lots of money for just a few more damage.
wait now wont q1 companies bite the dust
ops ....the only advadage to others company losted...i knew it from the begining ......now u destroy q1 iron companys....lol ...this fuckin trick warks only in row mats, not at the bread and thats why was dificult to discover if u dont have-had q2-q3....company
