Admins Why Not Ask Before You Act!

Hello Fellow Citizens and Admins,
This article will be pretty short but direct ,
since i have been playing this game (just a few month now) ,
I have noticed that the admins are very active and like making
a lot of changes (That's a good thing i have to say).
Just there is a big problem with that.
Let me explain myself, admins u want to make the game better
and u really work hard to do so, why not ask?
I mean we are your "costumers, players , schema hmm well we are your everything".
U can make changes , it is even blessed that u do but for god sake .
Make A survey before u work so hard on making them, ask us what we think
about the upcoming change ( Don't just tell us to swallow it and shut up),
We play because we love the game , the final decision about a change is yours,
But Let the citizens have a say before pushing them out of the game *if u make a bad choice*!
Hope you will read this article and think about my idea !
Peace and a great weekend to everyone!

That doesn't work, being a team member from another browser game I understand the frustration from the community, but if it was up to the community nothing would change, or would ever change. Running a game isn't a democracy and I understand the game is reliable on the people who play it and I think the admins should ask for input from the community a real democracy where the admins ask permission for every change just doesn't work.
I get ya , and agree with you , but some changes are better than others ..
The admins have to make the final decision and will do so (that's a part of their job) but they should consider the "community" voices about them.
well I so far like every change they did for us ,and I agree with Fhaemita Maldorous they will never ask citizens or anything like that, the best you'll get is a msg from Plato about the change and when the game wont be availbe because of that.
Yet erepublik keeps surprising me getting better and better and I do believe that the changes done are awesome and do make the game easier and way more simple and fun.

They don't really have to ask us for permission to change the game.
But... What kind of developer has no interaction with the players at all?
Why is there no official forum where you announce game changes?
Why don't they want feedback on what they're doing?
This game has gone from a social, political, economic and military simulator to a really sucky battle sim in just a few years. If not for off-site forums and IRC this game would be dead long ago.
Well, I agree that game doesn't have to ask a change as a change is not just a change. Admin team should also consider its short-mid-long term effects and impacts on other modules.
But it doesn't make sense not to get any input from players, this is the part eRep fails.
They have killed the forums, but they do look for feedback on their Facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/eRepublik
I guess it takes less server resources (as it's not on their server) while they still have control over comments.
I like how you captured the same broken English admin communicates with.

As a community member I'd appreciate if Plato restored the eRep forum to help unify the meta-experience; however as I've said regarding past changes 'This is Plato's sandbox; we eCitizens are merely permitted to play in it."
also if they informed us about upcoming changes before they happened, speculation would slam the markets BEFORE any changes actually took place.
look at the recent economy changes: if we had all known they would unify the gold market, we would all have gone to buy as much gold as possible before it went up. the price of gold before the change (in eUSA) was around 800usd/gold. after the changes that number was about double. had we known about our impending doom, we could have driven the price over 1k before the change, and then after we would be paying almost 2k per gold
ofc everything has its minus as well , i myself as a paying costumer , would like to have my voice heard even after they make a change, as a reaction to the change ...
and if a survey will show a big fail on a change i don't see any reason to keep it unless ofc they can improve it to our benefit

I was going to read this, and almost got to the middle part, where I realized that not once did he use "you." I then realized that that made me a horrible person. So then, I decided to try again, and failed. I am sorry, this story could hold the answer of life, but I could not read it for the use of "u" instead of "you." He also does not capitalize his "I"s and says we are Erepublik's "costumers." He also randomly capitalizes a "a." Like the first one was capitalized. Actually, many different grammar and spelling errors. I sincerely hope that the writer of this article is either: A) Eight and learning impaired, or 😎 Has English as a second language.
LOL 😁^ 🙂, actually he is 24 and isn't looking for a grammar teacher.. but if that makes u(you) happy i won't
argue with you m8.
Oh and you seem like a new player , but i see myself and other paying "Citizens" as costumers...
Anyways thx(thanks) for trying to read my article and next time i would rather u(you) comment on the context and again LOL.
@ LA Vuple with all due respect,I think the goal behind writing an article in an online multi-player game is sharing your thoughts, and prespectives rather than showing off your perfect english, thus, your comment should be relevent somehow to the content of this post rather than lecturing and giving a grammer class to my brother here.
Too bad you didn't read the article because it has a message and it's important that people read it and say what they think, yet again it's your choise,I just hope next time you try to read something online you give some useful or positive feedback..or just keep your thoughts to yourself.
Blessed be.
