This is eJapan's official newspaper. If you are interested in authentic eJapanese news, please vote and subscribe! Also, please stop by and visit us at #eJapan.gov on the Rizon IRC server.
MILITARY AFFAIRS
New rules have forced South Korea to attack Shikoku before we could end our current war. Fight there to help defend the region but be aware that this is not a continuing act of aggression by South Korea. Once our natural enemy proposal with the USA passes (more below), appropriate measures will be taken to close the Korean war as soon as possible.
EDIT: 10:10, Day 1126. Did someone say 'Pearl Harbor'? No, sorry to steal the Hollywood glimmer from your eyes. The Japanese attack on Hawaii is not an act of war. It is one further step in our plan to rent Chubu to the USA. You can read the president's statement here. Defend the homeland. Fight in Shikoku.
COMMUNICATION
To end the rampant bias and bullying, eJapan's IRC channel has changed owners and administrative rights have been placed in more capable hands. You can read more about the discussion here.
In an effort to keep citizens active and informed, as mentioned in the previous editions, we invite all eJapanese to join us on the new and improved national forums as well as on our official government channel on IRC. Just sign on the Rizon server, channel #eJapan.gov, and then sit back and watch your government at work (for better or for worse!). The chat is kept civil and well moderated, allowing only members of government to speak, but all citizens are free to watch and observe.
FOREIGN POLICY
A proposal has come before the Imperial Diet to declare the USA as our natural enemy. As president KITA Ikki revealed in his newspaper, this is not an act of aggression; rather, it is to help prevent complications in the coming Chubu landswap.
ELECTIONS
Congressional elections are looming. If you're yearning for a seat in the Imperial Diet we strongly encourage you to speak with your party president about the matter. Likewise, we strongly encourage all party presidents to screen their candidates for PTOers. The JEC has requested a list from all party presidents, due by day 1127, which provides the names of all one's official candidates as well as which regions they'll be running in.
LAW AND ORDER
It must be noted that, so far, four members of the Imperial Diet have quit before their terms ende

Just a statement of fact: I ended my term early to launch a [successful] resistance war in Chugoku. Had it not been done the most recent Romani-- I mean eSK attack would have hit yet another home region.
>I ask the MoIA to correct some information on this article.
Amended.
Thanks for the correction, seems better, either way voted.

Lest we forget the ISP led PTO of Godzilla, which was endorsed by the JEC. ISP now has control of 4 of the Top 5 parties. Democracy is alive and well in eJapan.
^ Lest we forget that the guy who posted the above comment endorsed an Indonesian PTO candidate, brought an impeachment proposal against the current president without raising the issue in the Diet, recently tried to swindle over 200 gold from the government, and abandoned his congressional responsibilities.
Anything else I left out?
The accusations made above describe events that were pure "Lulz" and had no adverse effects against the nation (we knew the gold/impeachment proposals would fail). However, the securing of 4/5 parties within a small cabal of individuals is a trufax.
Just sayin.
Voted.
>had no adverse effects against the nation
Only due to the keen and capable vigilance of the Diet. If KITA had lost his presidency or if the gold had been taken, would either have been restored? There were no "adverse effects" only because your schemes came back bottom up; regardless of whether humor was your original motivation or not.
Not to mention that you, Sugawara, were knee deep in the running of the above-mentioned PTO candidate as well as involved in stealing some state funds of your own. I guess vultures of a feather feast together — only this time Japan was not your meal — it was your own dignity you cannibalized.
Just sayin'.
>Keen and capable vigilence
Yes because it takes a keen awareness to realize the money is not being donated to the treasury org. It takes keen awareness to realize what happens when you vote yes to impeach the sitting president. If this is "keen awareness" Congress is even worse off than before.
Your wrong Kitchen Sink, and so often when you are you choose to ignore it in the most humorous ways possible. Enjoy the oligarchy, you guys don't have to RP one anymore.

Shoot the messenger, ignore the message

nice job

Notice how you don't even bother to address the central issue that I raise😛 the fact that had it not been for the vigilance of the Diet (regardless of whether you question the degree of how much vigilance it took), your plans would have resulted in an unduly impeached president and swindled gold. And it'd obvious why you don't address that issue. You'd have to admit that by making "lulz" proposals and endorsing a PTO candidate you have been nothing but a detriment to our society and democratic vision.
You ramble on and on about an oligarchy and cliques, yet you provide not the slightest shred of evidence. This makes it laughable when you try to claim that I'm shooting the messenger and ignoring the message. When you actually get a message, one beyond the lines of, "Me ReverendSean. Me mad. Me no like eJapan", then maybe I will address your message. Because other than your own spiteful pissiness, and in abscence of any hard evidence, you have no real message to address: you're just a PTOer who got busted and is now spreading lies.
Sugawara, had that 250 gold proposal to "Fires of Heaven" passed, TRSV would be the LAST one to say, 'oh yeah here's the money back because u know, its just 4 teh lulz'. Blaming such an act on 'teh lulz lol!' is blatantly irresponsible.
Good and informative article! There are however four Congress Members who quit before their terms ende😛 Kinzo, Alfred Ball, Sugawara and TheReverendSeanV. Not meaning anything against the first two Congressmen, both of whom had sound reasons to resign. However, if there is need for a list at all, it might as well be a complete one.
>There are however four Congress Members who quit before their terms ended
Updated.
TRSV should be banned from all forums and irc.
He is a eNK citizen, let us erase him from all the documents.
Notice how you continue to not address the central issue I put forward. There is an oligarchy in place, it's evident. There is 0 democracy in eJapan, that is evident. So yes you instead choose to be a pedant with other issues and ignore then ones I raise, i.e. Shoot the messenger ignore the message.
I can tell you over and over again how I did participate numerous times in collusion with the current government to promote similarly undemocratic actions as ones that have transpired. If you want to be childish and try to dismiss everything that has happen, events I've refered to countless times in the forums, irc and the media as what you'd like it to be "Lol u mad, troll", you continue to prove my point about the willfully ignorant in this country.
You construct a narrative in that I am always joking and always wrong, and when facts don't fit the narrative you bend them to your will. You're learning more from KITA than I could've imagined.
It also still amazes me at anyone stupid enough to believe that the FoH donation proposal would've ever happened. You're doubly stupid if you think I was under the impression it would have. Saying I would justify it as "teh lolz" (typing like a Ryanon-esque anon faggot no less), is hillarious in it's inaccuracy.
>There is an oligarchy in place, it's evident. There is 0 democracy in eJapan, that is evident.
Evident? I'd say that when you make a claim you have to provide evidence. That's how debate works. You can't just decide to make all of your points self-evident and say, "Everything I say is right and everything spew out is vomit!" There are, however, plenty of counterexamples to your claims of there being "zero democracy in Japan". In fact, if you had bothered to do more than troll on our national forums, you'd see plenty of votes brought before the Diet. Let me guess, that too is an elaborate, behind-closed-doors scheme: rob Japan of democracy with lots and lots of democracy. It's so ingenious, they'll never see it coming. Give me a break.
>I can tell you over and over again how I did participate numerous times in collusion with the current government to promote similarly undemocratic actions as ones that have transpired.
Please come up with more than, "I was there, man. The CIA really did assassinate JFK."
>It also still amazes me at anyone stupid enough to believe that the FoH donation proposal would've ever happened.
Please, actually read my argument and you will see that I never once argued that position.
