[WCA #2] - The Odd Couple

Br0adside opened the door to his hotel room buzzing with excitement. The Queensland resistance war was only 12 hours away, and he had arrived early to get a good rest before the fighting was to begin.

Holding his beloved teddy close, he was drifting off to sleep when a knock at the door startled him out of bed. Br0ad opened the door and was greeted by the hotel concierge.

"I'm sorry sir, but with the war tomorrow, there is an accommodation shortage and the government is forcing all hotel customers to share their rooms".

"0h 0k, no pr0blem. I can understand that", Br0ad replied. "But wh0 am I sharing with?"

"Well, it's a Mister War...."

A man in a jet-black coat and broad-brimmed fedora stepped forward, interrupting the concierge. Following closely behind, two Romanian mistresses, also clad in dark clothing, carried his bags full of weapons, food and gifts.

"0h n0..!", Br0ad exclaimed.

"I don't like it either Br0ad. When they told me who i'd have to share with, I almost went back to Moldova. But i'm here to liberate my home state and would do anything to see Queensland in eAustralian hands again. Even if that means spending one night in the same room as you".

Br0ad settled back into bed and cuddled close to his teddy again while Australian Warlord settled into bed with his two mistresses who were to spend the night stroking his Q5 rifle. Before drifting off to sleep, AW tossed a gift to Br0ad.

"I got a little something for you in the hotel lobby", Australian Warlord said dryly. His mistresses were giggling.

"It's a marionette, made in eIndonesia...thought you'd appreciate an eIndonesian puppetry set."

"..very funny AW, just go to sleep."

The next day, AW and Br0ad fought side-by-side on the battlefield and Queensland was reclaimed. Their night sharing a room together was never spoken of again.
