December 31, 1999. The END DAY.
On that day, approximately one thousand years ago, the Emperor Draygonia staged a coup. He seized power from Garland Ordene Chaos, the previous ruler, and defeated the "Originators" to bring order to the World.
Or at least, that is what they say... In truth, no one knows exactly when it was, or how many years have passed. History has repeated so many times since then, that all we have are the myths.
The same battle has been fought over and over again. There is no help for the world. And yet still, those who hope continue to allude to still more distant myths, telling of a golden age before the invention of R. Scott Bakker novels -- an age before human foolishness.
Such myths are deceptive, although not necessarily harmful. They make sense of human society at the expense of truth. That is why the eJapanese media is in decline. it is not because of a conspiracy. It is actually because some things are so embarrassing, it needs a serious person to get things back on track!
Well so I thought but, actually, we need term limits. The Imperial Diet is just too important a job to leave to people who are not me -- and I never know when to stop running for office! That is why this is not a Congress presentation.
I heard that this goldfish did not vote for Hitoshi-san last time he ran. I don't know that for sure, but considering the average life span of a goldfish, it seems likely. Besides, who would vote for a goldfish?
And then some things are just embarrassing, and need no explanation. Some things are just silly, and some other things are just plain wrong.
I don't always think I can tell the difference. But I'll still be around! Just, being a general busybody instead of a Congress busybody. And Luna Inverse is freaky, don't you think?
Cosplay or not, the world needs more waitresses...
...And fewer clowns. Good luck to next month's Imperial Diet! Will all the "end time" rumors ever end? Perhaps we'll find out by the end of next year. Stay tuned!

Nice, shiny, sparkly article, so voted!
I think the media is in decline because of the bad media interface: why should citizens now click multiple times just to see the top five articles...?
O my
Saber is better than Haruhi.
Voted for SNES
Does this mean that my articles resurrected Calon? Well, more likely that was China's fault...
I sympathize most with Saber too. Haruhi is kind of a hard act to follow though. I mean, regardless of right or wrong, if people act a certain way... then it's very difficult to escape the situation.
A friend of mine who is an English major had a theory about Haruhi... which is himitsu desu. Or should that be "classified information?"
Kita-san, about the media... This was made for the larger countries, and made it a lot harder for countries our size to keep an active media. But it is good for the game in general! Just look at the growth rates of the leading nations. Also, in the long run it will increase the potential available with more "space" for different types of media.
Keeping interest past a change is always hard but in my mind, it is a long run improvement.
Interesting - If Lina can destroy the world - that then her elder sister the Luna can...?
TL😉R
Lexs09, in the Spoof Chase Productions fanfic, Lina has to re-make the world after Luna destroys it by accident. It is the most high-quality Slayers fanfic I know. I also recommend the spiritual sequel, "Slayers Demiurge."
This is "political analysis" kind of, but mainly because there were none when I wrote it except for Hitoshi Makoto's "apocalypse edition." I guess there will always be people who prefer not to read an article. Thanks for the votes and comments!
"[The new media module] is good for the game in general! Just look at the growth rates of the leading nations. Also, in the long run it will increase the potential available with more "space" for different types of media."
You be trollin'
Excuse me? "Trolling" is coming to an article with no content and no intention of posting content, in order to start an argument. If you actually want to debate I know a few better venues (like the national forum, or your own newspaper.)
The plain truth is that it is better for the game in general and it also makes it harder for the smaller countries... Can't get any clearer than that.
Trollin' SO HARD!
